Area Financial Controlling Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Support operational finance by consulting on local rules, government regulations and support with data collection where required.
- Acknowledge and be aware of what is on the books while ensuring all one-off transactions, provisions and periodic movements of key balances are documented by ATR to ensure integrity and credibility of our financial statements.
- Area tax compliance support on frontline tax assessments and oversee tax filings.
- Execute, manage and control E2E financial processes for non-GSC entities (until offshored).
- JV performance management.
- Board engagement including consolidation of all preparation needed ahead of board meetings.
- CAPEX reporting and controlling.
- Support frontline business functions by providing expertise on financial procedures and assess impact by acting as an anchor point for APMM GAAP (i.e., reviewing investment proposals, sustainability reporting etc.).
Financial Risk Management & Control:
- Responsible for overview and assurance of compliant B/S and P&L together with ATR (given the local liability).
- Support ATR in timely closure of audit processes and review final audit observations.
- Anchor point for RICC in the frontline and drive overall effectiveness for the Area (in collaboration with Area BCO) and action plans for open audit issues.
Financial Compliance & Corporate governance:
- Support the Area Financial Compliance Lead for the area.
Working Capital Management:
- Support the Area Cash Flow Controller for the area.
Finance Transformation Projects:
- Support the Area Finance Transformation Lead for the area.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Someone with:
- A relevant university degree in finance (Master’s degree preferrable)
- At least 5 years prior business experience leading a team
- Relevant experience in financial and data analysis
- Local compliance and regulatory knowledge
- Communication skills: ability to condense and package data for precise/timely decision making in presentable formats
- Attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- High level of integrity
- Skilled in written and verbal English
Area Finance Transformation Lead
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support new business implementation, e.g. setting up of new entities in line with local compliance.
- Support legal entity rationalization projects (Gollum).
- Support Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) integration projects in line with Maersk standard processes and organizational setup.
- Act as the anchor point in the Area for new Finance & Tax platform (NFTP) implementations.
- Support business platform implementation (in collaboration with BCO) by providing critical input to facilitate Product Financial accounting; investigate training / testing needs and arrange training and testing schedule as part of the go live preparations.
- Drive, support and coordinate Fast Forward Finance activities end to end, including stakeholder management and deliver successful outcomes within the agreed project timelines.
- Provide the Area Leadership Team with timely and relevant information about the progress of the transformation projects, including escalation if the project delivery falls behind plan.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Someone with:
- A relevant qualification in finance, supply chain or a related field
- At least 5 years prior business experience
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP would be advantageous)
- Implementation and project management in general
- Proven ability to initiate business improvement projects and confidently impact decision making
- Result driven, strong logical and analytical capacity
- Well organized with high attention to detail
- Can work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and strong integrity
- Skilled in written and spoken English
