What you would be expected to do
- Developing a strong pipeline and reaching out to importers and distributors across the East & Southern Africa first.
- Focus on adding quality and large importers in the relevant markets with ability to scale.
- Continuously build the pipeline and work on onboarding maximum accounts in a quarter and finally deliver on annual targets.
- Collaborate with the ESA Grid team to improve understanding of the markets and build stronger contacts.
- Attend relevant regional conferences to find customers and build pipeline.
- Build relationship with relevant local and regional associations to increase Sun King’s reach across the region.
You might be a strong candidate if you
- Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management or equivalent. Engineering and Management combination is ideal.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in a business development or distributor management role.
- Must have strong written and verbal fluency in English.
- Have strong connections with importers and distributors across the region.
- Knowledge of relevant associations to promote the brand offerings
- Adapt well with different cultures and nationalities
- Ready to get out of comfort zone and travel 5-7 days/month
- Hands on and prompt in getting back to partners and closing leads
- Have strong negotiation skills

What you would be expected to do
- Developing a strong pipeline by reaching out to Telecom operators within East and Southern Africa.
- Focus on adding quality and large Telecom players onto the Sun King portfolio in the relevant markets with ability to scale.
- Continuously build the pipeline and work on onboarding maximum accounts in a quarter and finally deliver on annual targets.
- Collaborate with the East and South Africa on -grid team to improve understanding of the markets and build stronger contacts.
- Attend relevant regional conferences to find customers and build pipelines.
- Build relationship with relevant local and regional associations to increase Sun King’s reach across the region.
You might be a strong candidate if you
- Must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in management, marketing and sales or equivalent.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Telecom operator products and services business development role.
- Must have strong written and verbal fluency in English.
- Have strong connections with Telecoms,FinTechs across the region.
- Adapt well with diverse cultures and nationalities.
- This role will entail at least 60%travel
- Hands on and prompt in getting back to partners and closing leads.

What you would be expected to do
- Developing a strong pipeline by reaching out to Telecoms, Banks and MFI;s within East and Southern Africa.
- Focus on adding quality and large Telecoms and Banks in the relevant markets with ability to scale.
- Continuously build the pipeline and work on onboarding maximum accounts in a quarter and finally deliver on annual targets.
- Collaborate with the EBD team to improve understanding of the market and build stronger contacts.
- Build relationship with relevant local and regional associations to increase Sun King’s reach across the region.
You might be a strong candidate if you
- Must have a bachelor’s. Added advantage master’s degree in management, marketing and sales or equivalent.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in making cold calls and have the ability to tele-sale Sun king products
- Must have strong written and verbal fluency in English.
- Have an ability to be agile and change from project to project easily
- Knowledge of excel.
- Travel locally when required
- Hands on and prompt in getting back to emails and close leads.
- Have strong negotiation skills.
