Role purpose
To design and implement sales and marketing strategies to boost sales, optimize our company’s market
share as well as inspire, motivate and mentor junior sales executives.
Reporting lines:
Reporting to: The Director
Direct Reports: Sales Executives; Customer Experience Executive(s)
Key Responsibilities
- Generate, develop and implement ideas that will increase customers to expand coverage and drive revenue growth in the business.
- Generate sales as per the given sales targets.
- Design work plans that exploit the market place to guide the projections of daily sales activities.
- Carry out regular client visits with the Sales Executives to capitalize on recruitment of potential clients.
- Conduct price surveys, customer satisfaction surveys and other market research to gain consumer insight, grow and increase client portfolio and ensure excellent customer service.
- Liaise with HR to conduct annual training needs analysis and implementation of the training calendar for the Sales team.
- Handle administrative issues within the sales department.
- Conduct market intelligence and guide the marketing team on opportunities on the ground and how best to take advantage of them.
- Other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor/management from time to time
