Brand Manager, Content
This role is responsible for developing and executing online content strategy for all aspects of KCB online, ensuring the Bank’s Portals, Social Media Assets Blog and App have current, sharable, and interesting content to drive brand equity and business objectives of trial, conversion & usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, produce, publish, and distribute content on all KCB’s online assets and beyond to reach the bank’s various customer segments.
- Collaborate across bank functions and Partners to deliver the implementation of the editorial and engagement calendar for the bank’s portals, social media platforms, blog, and app to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost.
- Collaborate with internal teams and the Digital Agency, particularly the community managers, to generate and maintain an always-on engagement calendar as well as deliver content plans that are well integrated to support Brand and Product campaigns.
- Develop editorial and messaging governance and workflows so content is delivered consistently and in line with our brand voice, style, and tone.
- Ensure the bank KCB’s presence remains unique and strong on social media platforms driving high engagement and traffic through an always-on engagement plan in-line with the content strategy.
- Network with business functions to identify opportunities for new content to engage different customer audiences.
- Manage KCB’s website and portal development all bank assets are up to date with the latest content and perform optimally.
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure that all bank portals are always updated with the latest content and assets optimized to support ongoing campaigns.
- Content audit to ensure no outdated content or dead links, fix links that don’t work and pictures that aren’t appearing properly.
- Ensure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference.
- Track and report on all website and content metrics including SEO, traffic, UX, etc., and propose improvements.
- Keep current with emerging web content trends through relevant blogs, sites, and events.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
- University Degree from a recognized institution.
- At least 4 years’ experience in Content Creation and Management, with at least 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Content Management Systems, and Website Management.
E-Learning Manager
Responsible for the management and execution of eLearning delivery, maintenance and development of eLearning curriculum, optimization of the Learning Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads and or coordinates own staff team and other persons (curriculum developers, peer and senior management content contributors/reviewers) involved in eLearning delivery (Execution, Performance, Learning and Development, Recognition, Disciplinary and Grievance Handling)
- Manages the eLearning budget within approved Learning, Development and Talent budget.
- Source and implement off-shelf on-line courses for inclusion in the Bank’s eLearning catalogue.
- Manage eLearning content development, system maintenance and system upgrade projects.
- Collaborate with other teams, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to design eLearning courses.
- Develops, manages and maintains relationships with INTERNAL / EXTERNAL customers/stakeholders/supplies relating to own HR Area: Heads of Department, Line Managers, eLearning Service Providers, ELearning Curriculum Developers and Learning Institutions, Shared Service Departments (Finance, Procurement).
- Maintain data, records and statistics relating to own HR area: Learning Management System licenses and documentation, assignment and course completion data, staff leaner days and e-course certifications, content versioning.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management OR a Business-Related Field.
- Professional qualification – Certificate /Diploma/ Higher Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma in HR General or a specific area of HR.
- At least 4 years’ work experience, with at least 2 years’ experience.
Relationship Manager, Leasing – ABF & IPF
This position is a business growth and development position responsible for business/portfolio growth and retention in Asset Based Finance – which entails installment sales, leasing, and insurance premium finance products. To enable growth through the above products the job holder has a mandate of managing key partners/relationships including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Motor dealers, Lease companies, insurance companies, brokers, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow the Bank’s market share in Asset Based Finance (ABF), with a main focus on leasing – Ensure that the Bank is visible in the offering of Leasing Business in the banking sector.
- Drive the financial and business growth targets for ABF – Ensure that the Bank’s financial targets and growth are achieved.
- Manage customer relationship management; both Corporate and Retail. Support in the structuring of Leasing deals and preparation of term sheets.
- Proactively manage other key partners: Dealers, Insurance companies, Leasing Companies, Brokers, and other service providers.
- Drive product innovation and development in addition to improving product delivery efficiencies to improve customer experience.
- Manage and ensure all risks associated with Lease finance are mitigated; especially around fraud and revenue leakages in conjunction with the asset-based finance back office team.
- Training and development of branch managers, universal bankers, and relationship managers on Lease finance products.
- Develop and drive the Asset Based Finance strategy – In line with the Bank’s strategy, develop the asset-based finance strategy and ensure that it’s implemented.
- Proper documentation and administration of own portfolios; managing PARs, MIS management, and reporting.
- Processing of Leasing applications in Credit Quest (CQ) to facilitate disbursement – pre and post-approvals. Review of ABF/IPF/LEASING documentation for issuance of Letters of undertaking, release, and disbursements.
- Provide a service-focused, knowledgeable, and experienced point of contact for new and existing clients.
- Motivate Staff under Asset Based Finance for self-development. – Ensure retention, motivation and self-development for the staff in the unit.
- Attend Client meetings, dealer functions, and Leasing Company functions and make presentations as appropriate.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
- University degree from a recognized institution preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Relevant certification in business development Finance or its equivalent is an added advantage.
- Three (3) years banking experience in the Financial/banking/Leasing
- Three years’ Leasing experience with a focus on structuring/handling leasing deals and management of leasing customers/relationships.
- Familiar with the key members of the Leasing Association of Kenya.
