Head of HR & Operations
Our Client, in the manufacturing industry seeks to recruit a Head of HR & Operations to spearhead the development of strategic HR & operations plans that reflect the longer-term objectives and priorities established by the board.

Duties and Responsibilities
- HR Management
- Spearhead the development of strategic HR & operations plans that reflect the longer-term objectives and priorities established by the board.
- Develop and maintain research and development programs to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of the industry and applies the most cost-effective methods and approaches to provide a leading-edge, unique service that ensures the company remains competitive
- Drive the continuous development of investors in people principles through the HR development plan
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and development of the organization’s succession plan
- Spearhead the continuous training and development for the teams to build skills
- Ensure positive employer branding in the market
- Actively promote equality and diversity in the workforce
- Operations Management
- Ensuring appropriate operational planning and quality assurance control systems are in place and complied with.
- Ensures full implementation of ISO at all times
- In partnership with the management provide direction on performance management to ensure the achievement of objectives, targets, and strategic plans
- Ensuring that the operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and all other employees
- Lead, manage and motivate employees to deliver high-performance results
- Maintaining the high operational performance of the company through PMPs and reviews
- Representing the company to major customers and professional associations
- Lead on the development and definition of policies and procedures compliance strategy and quality improvement plan

- Ensure weekly and monthly departmental reporting & analysis

Essential Skills, knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience with a solid understanding of a HR and Operations management
- Proven work experience as an HR Operations Manager, HR Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and human resources best practices.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics/ performance appraisals.
- Ability to develop and successfully implement clear and fair company policies
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent active listening, negotiations and presentation skills
Chief Accountant
Our Client, in the manufacturing industry seeks to recruit a Chief Accountant to coordinate the preparation of final accounts and statements to present the fair view of financial status/position of the company. She/he will also be responsible for coordinating the administration of statutory accounts to ensure full compliance with laws and regulations, in order to reduce risks from non-compliance.

Job Location: Mlolongo, Mombasa Road
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
· Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements like management accounts monthly
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
- Provide leadership in the finance department
- Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Spearhead monthly stock take
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Review and suggest ways to improve the overall efficiency and spending of the company

Essential Skills, knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role (manufacturing environment)
- Must be a qualified CPA finalist or with ACCA professional qualifications
- Excellent understanding of accounting and reporting standards and procedures
- Good leadership with the ability to direct and supervise.
- Ability to handle demanding situations and work with minimum supervision
- Good communication skills
- Person of unquestionable integrity.
General Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Provide leadership and vision by assisting the Managing Director and staff with the development of long-term and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on strategies
- Monitor industry legislative developments, and develop and implement strategic changes in order to maintain compliance and maximize business performance;
- Spearhead the development, implementation, and maintaining budgetary and resource allocation plans
