Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-
- vouching sample transactions in audit investigation and verification;
- participating in preparing engagement and work plans;
- recording proceedings of entry and exit meetings;
- collecting and analysing data and statistics; and
- preparing audit working papers

Note: a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) K or Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be an added advantage.

(i) compiling and formatting financial estimates
(ii) taking initial action on budget monitoring;

Duties and Responsibilities
This is an entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-
- analyzing macroeconomic, revenue, exchequer and expenditure data for development and review of macroeconomic and fiscal policies;
- evaluating applications for remission of taxes under fiscal incentive schemes;
- updating databases for the users of the fiscal incentives schemes;
- evaluating tax exemption requests;
- monitoring and forecasting revenue and expenditure;
- monitoring implementation of macroeconomic reforms;
- preparing monthly budget outturn;
- maintaining and updating macroeconomic and fiscal database; and
- monitoring the Government balance sheet of the Central Bank.
