Business Development Supervisor (Valuation and assessment)

Our client a valuation and assessment firm with a goal of transforming all valuation and assessment related services and be the preferred service provider in the provision and delivery of fully integrated and reliable services is seeking to employ an Aggressive, Confident, Focused and Self Motivated Business Development Supervisor to offer leadership and oversee the business development unit.

Client Business Nature

The client is involved in valuation and assessment servicers for Banks, Saccos, Microfinances, Insurance companies and brokers among other customers in:

  1. Valuation of motor, property (land Building Content, jewelry), None tangible assets like softwares, Business Valuation, Aircraft, Marine (Boats, Yatch, ships or ferry) Machinery and Locomotives,
  2. Assessment of heavy and light motor vehicle and Machinery.
  3. Risk surveys, analysis and stock taking.
  4. Climate and Environmental risk assessment.
  5. Agricultural of crop, livestock, specialized equipment and machinery

Job Summary

Responsible for identifying new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and support organizational business growth through a sales team by engaging in strategic planning, sales management, and prospecting for new clients.

Specific Duties

  1. Driving business growth and securing new market opportunities by working with insurance and brokers underwriters, credit staff in banks, microfinances and saccos.
  2. Build, maintain, develop and manage strong relationships with clients, potential clients, and industry contacts and networks among insurance companies, banks, saccos, MFIs, brokers, direct agents, corporate and government in order to generate business leads.
  3. Researching and identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services and deliver intelligence that will inform proposition development for Channels.
  4. Overall responsibility to offer backoffice support to the sales executives in preparing quotation, price negotiation documents, project manage deployment of business development activities.
  5. Coordinate sales executives support including training, business development strategies, field and mentorship support coupled with other business execution activities.
  6. Develop and maintain key performance indicators for all lines of revenue generation and ensuring sales individual and unit sales targets are met.
  7. Prepare and present management reports on weekly and monthly basis

Requirements

  1. At least a diploma or degree in Sales and marketing or any other related course
  2. Strong business knowledge and at least 3 years’ experience in the industry in a similar role
  3. Ability to effectively research new markets
  4. Creative person with  problem-solving skills
  5. Strong and confident with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. A competent person with good taste, a sense of humor and presence commanding.
  7. Analytical and detail-oriented
  8. Strong negotiation, decision-making and leadership skills
  9. A reliable, responsible, self motivated and dependable of high integrity.
  10. Advanced time management, report writing and organizational skills

Remuneration.

A working wage of upto Kes 40,000.00 with additional commissions on own sales and a rider from sales generated by sales agents will be offered to the most suitable candidate.

Client Business Nature

Job Summary

Responsible for identifying new business opportunities to generate revenue including discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction and a health business relationship.

Specific Duties

  1. Plan, develop and deliver on deliverables/targets as agreed within timescales.
  2. Build strategic relationships and partnerships with key industry players, and business carriers.  
  3. Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company message to their existing customers.
  4. Identify new business opportunities, market targets and brand development through presentation of the firm offerings and capacities.
  5. Responsible for business production growth, revenue generation and development of an excellent business relationship through an excellent service delivery to customer relations with allocated business carriers
  6. Ensure smooth flow of daily end to end tasks from business development, business carriers, administration, and quality control.
  7. Ensure excellent rate of business retention through our partners including insurance companies, banks, saccos, MFIs, brokers, direct agents, corporate and government and generate new business leads.
  8. Generate sales reports on regular basis highlighting market intelligence and any support needed or management interventions
  9. Act as the firm brand ambassador through market mobilization activities for new leads.

Requirements 

  1. At least a diploma in Sales and marketing or any other related course previous experience in a similar marketing role
  2. Creative person with problem-solving skills
  3. A team player with strong interpersonal skills
  4. Strong time management, report writing and organizational skills
  5. Good listening, Strong negotiation, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. A competent person with good taste, a sense of humor and presence commanding.
  7. Analytical and detail-oriented person
  8. A reliable, responsible and dependable of high integrity.

Remuneration.

A working wage of upto Kes 20,000.00 with very attractive commissions on own sales will be offered to the most suitable candidate.
