Human Resource Assistant – 5 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Process human resource management matters including appointments, promotions and leave applications within existing rules, regulations and procedures;
- Capture and update human resource data in HRIS;
- Draft letters; and

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Kenyan citizenship,
- Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Labour Relations or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
OR
- Part I of the Certified Public Secretaries Examination from KASNEB; and .
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Chief Inspector of Inspectorate – 3 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Incharge of Sub-County Inspectorate Stations and units;
- Allocate duties and ensure maintenarice of discipline to the officers within their jurisdiction;
- Ensure proper working environment to Inspectorate officers;
- Prepare reports and submit them to the Superintendent;
- Prepare daily reports and submit them to the Superintendent;
- Coordinate all Inspectorate units working within their jurisdiction;
- Liaise with the County Legal Department for Court matters;
- Represent the Inspectorate Service at Sub County Community Policing Committee; and
- Any other duty assigned.
Requirements for Appointment;
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
- Bea Kenyan citizen,
- Possess a Degree in Security Studies or Criminology or any other relevant Social Science Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least three (3) years’ experience in security related industry; OR a Higher Diploma in Security Management/ Studies, Criminology or any other relevant Higher Diploma from a recognized institution with at least (3) three years of experience in enforcement, Para military or security industry.
Inspector of Inspectorate – 2 Posts
Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Assist the Sub-County Station Commander in his or her daily duties;
- Performs call ups in Inspectorate posts and stations and report the same to the Chief Inspectors;
- In charge of discipline in the Substation or Post;
- Preparation of reports;
- Preparation of Inspectorate work plan;
- Being responsible for all administrative matters of inspectorate in his/her jurisdiction;
- Liaising with other national security agencies; ‘
- Assist Chief Inspector on their daily Inspectorate duties;
- Authorizing officer work tickets;
- Represent the Inspectorate Service at Ward Community Policing Committee; and

Requirements for Appointment;
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
- Bea Kenyan citizenship;
- Degree in security studies/ management or any other relevant social science degree from a recognized university with three years’ experience in Enforcement, Para military or Security industry;
OR
- Bea holder of Diploma in Security Studies/Management, Criminology or any other relevant Diploma from a recognized institution with at least three years’ experience in Enforcement, Para military or Security industry.
Sub County Administrator – 7 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Oversee service delivery in the area of jurisdiction;
- Develop programmes and projects to empower the community;
- Coordinate and facilitate citizen participation in the development of policies, plans and delivery of services;
- Facilitate inter-governmental relations and conflict resolution;
- Oversee safe custody of County Government assets in the area of jurisdiction;
- Coordinate and liaise: with other directorates and departments in the area of jurisdiction;
- Ensure compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements in the area of jurisdiction;
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to organize public for a on development and review of policies, strategies and guidelines;
- Enhance compliance with national values and principles of good governance;
- Enhance administrative capacity for effective functions and governance at the local level;
- Identify development projects;
- Disseminate information to the public;
- Provide linkage between the County and the community; and

Requirements for Appointment;
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Kenyan citizenship; ;
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other Social science from a recognized institution;
- Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Public Administration; Business Administration/Management; Community Development or any other Social science from a recognized institution;
- Experience of not less than 10 years working in the public or private sector; and Certificate in computer applications.
Environmental Officers – 6 Posts
Duties and responsibilities
- Identify areas of Environmental concerns and ensure they are sufficiently addressed and incorporated in Environmental Management Plans;
- Prepare work plans for all environmental activities and supervise their implementation;
- Collaborate with community and other stakeholders in environmental conservation activities;
- Document and promote best environmental practices;
- Periodic preparation and submission of Environmental Progress Reports;
- Facilitate and promote Citizen Participation in management of environmental affairs;
- Liaise with other County Government officers in developing strategies for better environmental service delivery;
- Ensure compliance and enforcement of Environmental Regulations;

Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental policies and procedures;
- Perform field inspections to monitor compliance with environmental regulations;
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to promote environmental sustainability;

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Reviewing internal control systems in operation and report on any weakness;
- Undertaking specific audit assignments;
- Preparing detailed audit observations and reports as required by his/her superior;
- Reviewing budgetary controls on issuance of authority to incur expenditure and commitments;
- Reviewing internal controls on revenue /Appropriation-In-Aid collection and accounting from time to time and advise on deviations from approved levels;

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Verify vouchers and comrnittal documents in accordance with laid down rules and regulations; .
- Data capture, maintenance of primary records such as cashbooks, ledgers, vote books, registers and preparation of simple management reports;
- Safe custody of Government records and assets;
- Receive duly processed payments and receipt vouchers;
- Write cheques and posting payments and receipt vouchers in the cash books;
- Balance and rule the cash books on daily basis;
- Prepare reconciliations; and
- Prepare expenditure and Authority to Incur Expenditure (AIE) funding returns; and

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Provide client support and resolve or escalate issues through multiple service channels focusing on high quality client interactions.
- Analyze customer invoices and payment terms to support debt collection and agency
- cashflow and compliance with accounting standards, legislation and government policy.
- Provide reporting insights into debt management levels to support revenue collections performance.
- Apply internal controls to ensure reliability of accounting processes and records.
- Undertake month and year end close processes, reporting and reconciliations to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of financial statements.

Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Provides operational leadership and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of hospital ancillary support and non-nursing clinical service areas such as quality, infection prevention, safety, regulatory compliance, nutritional services, facilities, laundry, housekeeping, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, and rehabilitation
- Overseeing a hospital’s daily operations;
- Ensuring high levels of ongoing patient care;
- Coordinating department operations so that each department works well and in synergy with other departments as a facet of holistic hospital operations; ,Ensures the hospital complies with Government of Kenya policies and procedures as well as standards by external regulatory bodies for the provision of care;

Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse – 50 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient’s outcome;
- Provide appropriate healthcare service including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and delivery, providing health education and counseling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs;

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
- Receive and document patients at hospital reception;
- Register booking appointment for patients to clinics and consultants;
- Store and retrieve medical records documents;
- Prepare clinics;
- Update bed bureau;
- Edit patient case records;

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
- Decontaminate working benches;
- Receive and scrutinize laboratory requisition forms and specimens;
- Prepare clients for collection of specimens;
- Receive, collect, label and register specimens;
- Disaggregate specimens for processing and analysis;

Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail: –
- Initiate, prepare and monitor the implementation of County and local physical development plans;
- Prepare action plans for specific projects such as residential housing schemes, shopping centers, industrial estates and recreational facilities;
- Provide advice to. Government and private agencies on development proposals and plans;
- Implement and provide feedback on physical planning guidelines and standards;
- Undertake thematic regional studies on matters relating to physical planning;
- Manage physical planning data;
- Set agenda and convene physical planning liaison committee meetings;
- Keep records of deliberations and communicate the decisions of the physical planning liaison committee;

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must: –
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Urban and Regional
- Planning; Urban Planning or Town Planning from a recognized institution;
- Be registered by the Planners Registration Board;
- Experience of not less than 5 years in the public or private sector;
- Be a corporate member of Kenya Institute of Planners or Architectural Association of
- Kenya (Town Planning Chapter);
- Have a certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Land Survey Assistant
Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail: –
- Carry out angular and distance measurements and computation for small density topographical, site engineering, general boundary, and photo control surveys.

This will be the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will be on job training and will be assigned simple duties in repair and maintenance works.

- Government Trade Test Certificate Grade III in Mechanics.
Legal Officer I – 2 Posts

Duties and responsibilities will entail: –
- Advise on legal policy issues;
- Represent the County in court;
- Prepare contract documents and negotiations;
- Provide technical support to the County departments;

Legal Researcher
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail: –
- Assist in development of legal policies.
- Provide professional research assistance and analysis to the county departments.
- Compile reports and formulate draft legal policies and Bills.
- Provision of expert explanation and analysis on legal issues.
- Prepare explanatory notes and briefs on new laws, policies and emerging issues.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
- Bea Kenyan Citizen;
- Bachelors of Laws (LL: B) degree from a recognized institution; and
- Proficiency in Computer applications;
