The State Department is currently seeking to undertake recruitment exercise to onboard two hundred and eighty (280) mentors and nineteen (19) mentor supervisors to be done in various locations within sixteen (16) Sub-Counties in ten (10) Counties.

Qualifications for Mentor:

• At least a mean grade of C minus in form four level of education
• Diploma in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field will be an added advantage
• Experience working with youth or vulnerable populations and poverty graduation programmes
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated empathy, reliability, and commitment
• Must be a positive role model with a clean ethical record

b. EIP Position: Mentor Supervisor

• Duration: Fifteen (15) Months (Not Renewable)
• Number of Available Positions: Nineteen (19)
• Note: The position for the Mentor Supervisors will be selected from the same locations as the Mentors.

Qualifications for Mentor Supervisor:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, or related discipline
• At least 1 year experience in mentorship, youth programs or community work and poverty graduation programmes
• Knowledge of safeguarding, GESI, and M&E
• Experience working with diverse or vulnerable populations
