Assistant ICT Manager/Full Stack Developer

JOB PURPOSE

The overall purpose of this job is to undertake comprehensive Assistant ICT Manager as well as full stack development tasks, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software applications, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and in alignment with established protocols and the organization’s technology objectives.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Assist in overseeing hospital technological infrastructures and operations to ensure they adhere to the company policies and regulations.
  • Coding and development through writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, Integrating M-PESA API, Barclays Bank PDQ API, SMART, LAB and SLADE
  • Analyzing requirements for customization, modify existing functionalities and develop new features, modules and reports as per project requirements.
  • Maintain, drive, supervise and implement robust technical standards, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain robust and secure PHP-based applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while adhering to best practices and design principles.
  • Utilize Laravel, jQuery, JSON, and other relevant technologies to build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
  • Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and other performance issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Full stack Developer, with at least 3 years of experience in a busy hospital setting and
  • At least 1 years serving in supervisory position.
  • Extensive experience in PHP development for more than 3 years, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Laravel, JSON, jQuery, APIs, and other relevant technologies related to PHP coding.
  • In-depth knowledge of database systems, data modeling, and SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and libraries.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-centric approach.

ICT Officer

JOB PURPOSE

The overall purpose of this job is to undertake comprehensive firewall management, offering support to end user departments, troubleshooting, installing and repair both software and hardware for different user departments as required in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and in alignment with established protocols and the organization’s technology objectives.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Assist in overseeing hospital technological infrastructures and operations to ensure they adhere to the company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all networks and computer related issues for best performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of hardware, operating systems, applications, and CCTV.
  • Perform preventive maintenance duties on items of ICT hardware, including the cleaning of equipment.
  • Ensure that network access privileges, applications, data storage and regular backups are configured and maintained.
  • Integrate security, physical control solutions for all confidential data and systems as well as identify security gaps and provide relevant solutions in consultation with the ICT Manager.
  • Liaise with the end user to clarify, analyze, and resolve reported issues, delivering a high standards of ICT support.

Well Baby/TB Nurse

JOB PURPOSE

The Well Baby Nurse’s job will be to support maternal health and wellbeing, identify health and development concerns early, provide intervention and referral when necessary and deliver health promotion and education programs. The Well Baby/ TB Nurse will also maintain records and monthly TB reports of vaccines as well as issuing TB drugs and screening of patients.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Vaccination using the KEPI and baby friendly schedule.
  • Monitoring growth and development of babies.
  • Carrying out routine screening of vision and hearing.
  • Coordinate follow-up medical care.
  • Maintaining records and monthly reports of vaccines.
  • Perform screening to determine if a patient has TB.
  • Issuing TB drugs to TB patients.
  • Provide case management of TB cases.
  • Provide directly observed therapy (DOT) and directly observed preventive therapy (DOPT) to cases, suspects, and TBI cases.
  • Help ensure timely contact tracing for each TB case.
  • Adhere to the hospital health and safety policies, guidelines/ protocols (e.g the use of personal protective clothing/ equipment, fire safety).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree/Diploma in nursing from a reputable institution.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Comprehensive Care Clinic/ Maternal and Child Health.
  • Knowledge on KEPI Schedule.
