Risk Analyst Assistant

PURPOSE:

Responsible for risk identification, analysis and recording to facilitate transparency and accuracy in decision making.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and analyse data for risk assessment, monitoring and compliance;
• Coordinating risk champions in risk identification and analysis;
• Collection of data for preparation of management and board reports;
• Maintain risk logs and incident logs; Maintain risk and incident logs and
• Review files and capture information during risk audits;

Academic and Professional Requirements

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or in a related field 
• Computer literate in MS Office and other office applications 

Professional    

• Certification in either of the following; CISA/ CISM/ CRM/ Progress in CPA 

Experience Required:

• Relevant experience    1

Risk Analyst

PURPOSE:

Responsible for risk identification, analysis and recording to facilitate transparency and accuracy in decision making.

• Identify and assess inherent risks and create risk registers
• Conduct risk audit on business units and branches
• Prepare draft management reports
• Review and advise on business processes, IT change management control and product risk review
• Maintain risk and incident logs and
• Monitor compliance with the recommended risk controls and mitigations.

 Academic and Professional Requirements

Education   

• Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Business-related field from a reputable university  

Professional Qualifications 

• Computer literate in MS Office and other office applications
• ICDL or Computer Packages
• IIK or ACII

 Experience Required:

• Relevant experience    2
