Business Systems Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain business systems, such as DMS, CRM, ERP, HRIS, and other software applications, including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including servers, workstations, printers, and network devices.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus, and backup systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to business systems and IT infrastructure, including identifying and resolving system errors, data inconsistencies, and user issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to IT resources, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide technical support to end-users, including resolving hardware and software issues, answering technical questions, and assisting with training and education.
- Conduct regular system and software updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Maintain inventory and asset management of all IT hardware and software.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to ensure a seamless and integrated IT environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business systems and IT administration or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of business systems, such as DMS, CRM, ERP, HRIS, and other software applications, and their configuration and customization.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server.
- Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and storage technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Certifications in relevant technologies, such are a plus.
