Software Quality Analyst
About the Role:
BURN is looking for a Software Quality Analyst, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain effective quality assurance processes and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Test Planning:
- Collaborate with development and product teams to create comprehensive test plans that align with project requirements.
Test Case Design and Execution:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases to verify software functionality, performance, reliability, and compatibility.
Defect Identification and Tracking:
- Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug-tracking system. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Regression Testing:
- Conduct regression testing to validate that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality.
Automated Testing:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase efficiency and test coverage.
Performance Testing:
- Perform performance testing to assess the scalability and responsiveness of software applications.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure a shared understanding of project requirements.
Quality Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the QA team.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Quality Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools.
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Knowledge of performance testing and familiarity with tools like JMeter.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Senior Electric Quality Engineer
About the role
The Senior Electric Quality Engineer role focuses on collaborating with the electric design, engineering, and procurement teams to assess and select vendors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, defining quality plans for OEM suppliers, and managing supplier quality issues.
The position requires strong skills in document control, Quality Assurance principles, interpersonal communication, organization, analytics, and leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supplier Quality:
- Work with the electric design & engineering team and procurement team on vendor evaluation and selection.
- Review and advise on relevant regulatory and compliance requirements for electric products to the relevant local and international standards.
- Define the quality plan, alignment and execution for OEM suppliers which includes the Control Plan, CTQ processes, reliability qualification and monitoring plan, quality reporting, traceability etc.
- Manage and coordinate resolution of supplier quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on supplier quality-related key performance indicators including scrap monitoring, rework levels, and parts per million (PPM) figures.
- Work with engineering and design to develop technical product specification sheets and ensure they’re well maintained.
- Develop an Incoming Quality Control (IQC) plan and the relevant documentation.
- Review Product Change Notices (PCN) from suppliers and coordinate approval by the relevant parties.
- Coordinate third-party quality services including lab testing, pre-shipment inspections, factory audits etc.
Internal & External Quality
- Support the electric product design and engineering teams by providing analysis and expertise throughout the stage gate process.
- Working with the engineering team to initiate, define and document product inspection methods and acceptance criteria.
- Document control – ensure there’s proper revision management for all product files – hardware, firmware, and software.
- Ensure all warranty repairs and refurbishments are done according to the set standard operating procedures and standards.
- Statistical analysis and reporting of manufacturing and warranty claim quality defects.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Manage, mentor, and train a team of quality engineers and electric technicians on quality processes and repair procedures.

About the role
BURN is looking for a Head of Strategy who will play a central role in shaping the strategic direction and success of the company’s products.
As the Head of Strategy, you will collaborate closely with senior management, including the CEO, to define the strategic roadmap, identify market opportunities, and ensure the alignment of our electric products division with our broader business goals.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with senior management to devise effective short and long-term plans.
- Carry out initial research, project design, and thought partnership with the CEO.
- Reviews and analyses the different strategic options and advises on the best way forward for both product and geographic expansion.
- Analyses the success of products, projects, and activities and discovers ways to increase revenue by eliminating wasteful practices and expediting product delivery.
- Leads and supports management in the application and implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Develops new business opportunities by leveraging contacts, pursuing new product development, and improving project efficiency.
- Support SMT with decision-making by leveraging the Internal Market Intelligence Team as a resource to assist in budgeting, resourcing decisions, and change management.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, finance, or marketing required.
- Master of Business Administration recommended.
- Must have at least 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business management, corporate leadership, and financial decision-making.
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in analytical research, leadership, and strategic planning.
- Must possess exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of management strategies, financial accounting, human resource planning, customer relations, and the implementation of new technologies.
- Must be familiar with fundraising and increasing revenue while maintaining a comprehensive and cohesive brand or identity.
- Must be comfortable with public speaking and communicating both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to multitask with research projects, data analysis, coordination with the executive team, and acting as the public face of the company in the absence of the company’s CEO.

Carbon Financial Analyst

An ideal candidate is expected to be comfortable working with all levels of management to gain an in-depth understanding of our strategy and services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models for project financing related to carbon offset credit projects.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates for investor reporting.
- Develop and maintain carbon project analyses including KPIs and benchmarking tools.
- Support in identifying and tracking potential project opportunities, through developing project financial reporting models.
- Prepare materials for proposals and/or reporting related to carbon projects and analyses conclusions.
- Provide timely and accurate projects ‘financial information to support reporting and decision-making processes.
- Creating and updating budgets/forecasts for carbon projects and assessing performance against them
- Any other duties as may be assigned in line with the role’s developing needs.
