Technology Senior Sales Manager Commercial Sector

Job Description

  • We’re in search of a driven Technology Software Senior Sales Manager, Commercial Sector, Kenya, capable of guiding our team to promote our comprehensive technology solutions portfolio in a license sales model. While we actively assist our customers in transitioning to the Cloud, we remain committed to fulfilling their on-premises solution needs.
  • Your team’s purview spans a diverse range of solutions, encompassing databases, data management solutions (Analytics, Integration, etc.), cybersecurity, middleware, and other innovative digital offerings. Your leadership will support customers within the commercial sector in Kenya dealing with expanding data volumes and ambitious service-level requirements, enabling them to unlock their IT organizations’ full potential.
  • In this role, you will lead a team of 6 individuals, with accountability for meeting the team’s revenue targets within the commercial territory (FSI, Telco, MRD, Utilities and Insurance sectors). Previous experience in leading sales teams is therefore a prerequisite for this position.

What you will do
As a Technology Software Senior Sales Manager in Oracle, you will play a pivotal role in representing and guiding our commercial sales team in Kenya. Your responsibilities encompass managing sales operations for our comprehensive Oracle Technology Solutions suite, which includes infrastructure, database, middleware, BI, and big data license sales opportunities.

  • Drive the commercial sales team to sell our complete technology solutions portfolio.
  • Lead a team covering various solutions, including databases, data management, cybersecurity, middleware, and digital solutions.
  • Maximize the potential of customers’ IT organizations, especially those with growing data volumes and high service-level expectations.

  • We are looking for a Functional Siebel engineer who will be responsible for Siebel Application Technical Lead will provide management oversight and hands-on expertise supporting Oracle Cloud implementation projects. Responsibilities
SCOPE:

  • Location: Nairobi, Kenya or Johannesburg, South Africa

  • 15+ years of IT services, including substantial direct experience in services roles within multiple external IT services providers
