Director of Academic Affairs (Dean)

Job Summary

  • The Director of Academic Affairs (Dean) provides leadership for all academic matters in the seminary. The Dean is responsible for fostering a Christ-centered learning environment that promotes theological education, pastoral formation, and leadership development in alignment with the Seminary’s Statements of Faith, Core Values, Vision, and Mission.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Appraise and supervise the faculty.
  • Lead and oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of the seminary’s academic programs, ensuring they are theologically sound, relevant, and aligned with the mission of the institution.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A doctoral degree (Ph.D., Th.D, or equivalent) in Theology, Divinity, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Ordained clergy or ecclesiastically recognized minister with significant ministry experience.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of teaching experience at the seminary or university level.

Job Summary

  • The Director of Administration, Human Resources, and Finance is responsible for overseeing the seminary’s administrative, human resources, informational technology, and financial functions. Roles and Responsibilities

Administrative Management:

Job Summary

  • The Director of Donor Advancement & Communications is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the seminary’s donor advancement, external communications, alumni engagement, and relationships with church communities so that funding is provided for seminary operations. This role is critical in promoting the seminary’s mission and fostering long-term relationships with donors and churches that support the institution’s strategic goals. The Director serves as a key ambassador for the seminary, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging, strengthening connections with and securing financial support from donors, alumni, and church partners. This position is responsible for securing the funding of the Annual Scholarship Fund.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that effectively promotes the seminary’s mission, programs, and achievements.

  • The Director of Enrolment Management and Financial Aid oversees recruitment, admission, examinations, timetabling and financial aid services in the seminary. This role ensures a holistic student experience from the initial inquiry stage through graduation. The Director is responsible for creating a supportive and engaging student environment while managing financial aid programs and guiding students throughout their enrolment process.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract a diverse and well-qualified student body.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities such as campus visits, virtual information sessions, and outreach to prospective students.
  • Oversee the admissions process, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making admissions decisions in collaboration with the Dean and faculty.

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in spiritual leadership, pastoral care, or related
  • ministry roles, preferably within an educational or church setting.
  • Spiritual leadership ordination in a Wesleyan Holiness denomination is preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading spiritual formation programs and providing pastoral care in diverse, multicultural environments.
  • Experience organizing and leading worship services and retreats.
  • Strong theological knowledge and understanding of Christian spiritual formation practices.
