Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop alumni relations’ strategy, program, policy, procedures, plan and guidelines.
- Conduct tracer studies to analyze the distribution of alumni and identify areas of support.
- Manage the alumni database and develop techniques for collection and mining of graduating students and alumni data.
- Maintain up-to-date information on the alumni population, activities and contributions.
- Work with the alumni association leadership to develop alumni driven scholarships, job opportunities, and career advice sessions for students.
- Participate in the implementation of the alumni partnership marketing plans to improve alumni relations and to build strong external stakeholder relationships.
- Working with the Alumni Relations Committee organize alumni events and related initiatives including, the development of a key events calendar for alumni relations to align with the institutional calendar.
- Review the alumni constitution to ensure it continues to support ANU, in conjunction with alumni council.
- Coordinate, manage and run the establishment of alumni chapters across the globe. Manage the alumni election process.
- Maintain active relationships with the alumni community through consistent communications across different platforms as well as managing the collection and analysis of alumni feedback to improve customer/ alumni experience across every touch point.
- Work in partnership with Schools in the University to develop initiatives through which alumni can assist the institution in achieving its development priorities.
- Actively search for internship opportunities and related partnerships for students. Plan for and register students for internship training per semester.
- Plan and handle logistics for career events and trainings e.g. entrepreneurship training, CV writing, career seminars and workshops, career fairs etc. Seek speakers and partners, prepare event programs, and mobilize students.
- Participate and coordinate the student awards process.
- Prepare monthly departmental reports to the management board.
Academic and Professional Requirements:
- Masters degree in business/marketing or related field.
- Relevant professional qualification
- Member of a relevant professional body
- 4 years of relevant experience
