Information Security Officer
Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role of an Information Security Officer in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Information Security Officer will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities related to business continuity, information security management, ISMS, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Business Continuity and Information Security Management System (ISMS) skills
- Proficiency in Information Security Management, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity
- Ability to conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability testing
- Knowledge of industry frameworks (ISO 27001/2, NIST, CIS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CBCP, and CISA
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
