Junior Ruby on Rails Developer
Role Description
- This is a contract remote role for a Junior Ruby on Rails Developer. The Junior Ruby on Rails Developer will be responsible for day-to-day back-end and front-end web development tasks and implementing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns. The developer will also employ Test Driven Development practices.
Qualifications
- Back-End Web Development, OOP, and MVC design pattern skills
- Front-End Development skills in React or JQuery
- Experience with MySQL or Postgres
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Proficient in Ruby on Rails framework
- Experience with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with agile methodologies is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS is a plus

Role Description
