Fixed Assets and GL Reporting Accountant
Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless flow and execution of Capex tracking, deployment, site transfers, SRN activities coordinating with Supply Chain Management, Networks and Accounts Centre of Excellence
- Ensure timely, complete and accurate capitalization of assets account for depreciation and amortization
Accurate and complete accounting for fixed assets, duty and capital work in progress as per financial guidelines - Review of capex item codes, perform CWIP CL analysis and accounting for fixed assets
Facilitate sale of assets both to inter -company and scrap dealers for invoicing, payment, issuance or retirement from books. - Drive adherence to PTC process (recognition criteria for fixed assets, capitalization, impairment, depreciation and amortization)
- Ensure timely and accurate Capital Work In progress clearing, Capital Work in Progress provisioning with full adherence to relevant Fixed assets accounting guidelines, accounting standards and procedures
- Timely preparation of audit schedules and response to audit queries
- Drive reconciliations of Fixed assets, clearance of reconciling items, Invoice, credit note approvals and Physical Verification Exercise of all Company’s assets and reconciliation to General Ledger/ Fixed Assets Register.
- Perform monthly warehouse visits to review compliance status to procedures and processes
End to end management of Airtel Money Capital work in progress to final capitalization in the Fixed Assets. - Drive End-to-end oversight from purchase to capitalization process with proper documentation and process
- Ensuring adherence to SRN process with all the necessary approvals
- Ensuring adherence to the warehouse / GRN processes – proper gate process, inspection, and posting of Goods received notes.
- Track sites on air, site wise analysis and ensuring completeness of the capitalized assets
- End-to-end coordination of fixed assets verification exercise for all asset categories, reconciliation to GL and sub ledgers and following up to ensure reconciliation entries are taken in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Business related degree with ACCA/CPA/CFA certification
- Minimum 5 years in FMCG or Telecoms with experience in carrying out quantitative and qualitative analytical reviews on financial statement items
- Good analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills

The HBB Regional Sales Manager reports to the Sales Lead, HBB. He/she will be responsible for managing the execution of strategic 5G and FWA sales plans within the assigned cluster by providing leadership to the 5G and FWA sales team to ensure sales targets are met. Additionally, the Area sales manager is responsible for resolving customer complaints, monitoring and tracking competition activities and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations within the assigned cluster.
Responsibilities
- Manage direct sales channels, ensure recharge availability for the 5G & Fixed Wireless Access devices (FWA) within assigned cluster
- Identify and formulate sales strategies to help drive gross addition device sales and drive 5G HBB, FWA distribution.
- Ensure installation SLAs are met, drive adherence to compliance requirements of sales processes, policies and recovery of devices from noncompliant customers.
- Collaborate with Line Manager, cross functional leaders and peers to develop sales targets and strategies to drive up sales
- Collaborate and follow up with relevant stakeholders to resolve customer complaints
- Conduct Customer prospects directly or indirectly through team members, potential customers and other sales leads.
- Consult with potential customers to understand their needs, identify and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs and share with relevant business leaders
- Implement and execute sales plans as per plan first time right. Supervise the health of device acquisitions and compliance on activations to drive desired business results
- Effective team management to ensure that the team delivers profits
Qualifications
- Business related degree with at least 5-8 years of requisite sales experience in the telecom/Devices selling/Corporate Sales/ Satellite TV industries or other related fields.; minimum of 3 years managing a team.
- Good understanding the competition landscape – players, the market size, regulations, technologies used devices offered, spectrum used etc.
- Tech savvy, good understanding of solutions across both 5G and Fixed Wireless Services.
- Resilience and ability to deliver against stretch targets
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit with good team management skills
- Good planning and organizing skills, able to plan and execute team route plans and evaluate performance on a daily basis
