Disability Inclusion Officer- Basketball Experience
Job Summary
The Disability Inclusion Officer will lead all disability inclusion components of the BE-DI project. They will provide technical guidance, coordinate inclusive programming, strengthen capacity of coaches and teachers, and ensure adherence to disability-inclusive education and sport standards. The officer will work closely with schools, disability organizations, caregivers, and county stakeholders to foster inclusive environments that enable children with disabilities, especially girls to meaningfully participate and thrive.

Technical Leadership on Disability Inclusion

Research Officer- Africa Migration Hub
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Research Officer will be based in Nairobi at KRCS and is responsible for the design and technical support of the research agenda of the Hub, in coordination with the Hub Program Manager.
- The Research Officer will support the Program Manager in coordination and maintaining relationships with Red Cross and Red Crescent actors across the region and with migration-related research and academic institutions.
- The Research Officer reports to the Hub Program Manager who is also based in Nairobi at Kenya Red Cross Society.
Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate on Africa Migration Research Hub (‘Hub’) knowledge creation, including research design and ethics
- Coordinate on the design and analysis stages of research projects, including Humanitarian Service Point Impact Studies
- Support the Program Manager in research project implementation and data collection stages of research projects
- Design and deliver practical research training for Red Cross Red Crescent National Societies both in-person and online
