Registered Nurse

Qualifications
- Diploma in: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing from KMTC or any other recognized institution.
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a busy inpatient facility
- 2 years’ experience in maternity and newborn experience’
- Must be a registered nurse.
- Registration certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya
- Certificate in computer application.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patient`s outcomes.
- Providing appropriate health care services
- Providing health education and counselling to patients/ clients and community on identified health needs.
- Assist in Coordinating AMURT Mobile Health Clinic and medical camps when necessary
- Carryout MNCH clinic and conducting deliveries
- Ensure correct storage (KEPI) and administration of drugs
- Referring patients/clients appropriately
- Facilitating patients’ admission and discharge plans.
- Maintaining records on patients/clients’ health condition and care in the system including all consumables in the nursing department
- Ensuring a safe and tidy clinical environment.
- Regularly attend weekly departmental meetings
- Prepare MOH reports and submit them to Sub- County offices on time
- Market Muyeye Health Care Centre services for more referrals and work towards meeting the set targets
- perform any other duties and responsibilities as delegated by your supervisor.
Clinical Officer

Qualifications
- Dip in clinical medicine and surgery.
- 2 years’ experience in a busy health facility.
- Must be registered with the Board.
- Have a valid practicing license.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, implementing clinical interventions and evaluating patient`s outcomes.
- To offer patient consultation services and prescriptions
- Providing health education and counselling to patients/ clients and community on identified health needs.
- Assist in Carry out MNCH /FP clinic
- Conduct deliveries for admitted mothers
- Support in organizing medical camps that market the facility
- Maintaining records on Patients/clients health condition and care in the system for both outpatient and inpatient.
- Ensuring a safe and tidy clinical environment
- Carrying out relevant simple surgical procedures on Clients on need basis
- Perform minor surgeries
- Conduct referrals to other departments; i.e. laboratory, pharmacy, ultrasound, ECG or any other relevant department within the health facility
- Perform day to day clinical duties and consultation services to out-patients in line with the Kenya HIV management guidelines and provide treatment for HIV/STIs and refer them to nearby comprehensive centers for ART and TB treatment
- Liaising with other senior health care personnel at the sub county /county level to develop continuous improvement of protocols for HIV
- Attend Quality improvement team meetings at the facility
- Attend weekly clinic meetings and update on progress /new updates
- Compile and submit MOH reports to the sub county and County offices as required
- Market Muyeye Health care center services for more referrals and work towards meeting the set targets
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
