Business Data Analyst – Digital Lending
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze the various customer segments with and advise the business on areas of improvement.
- Conduct market research and come up with new products.
- Test and engineering product process flows.
- Support the Business in enhancing the customer experience through research, surveys and doing analysis to find out the customers’ needs.
- Facilitate the bank in minimizing the risks in the channel driven lending business.
- Provide intermediation between the IT Support and the various customer service points.
- Ensure proper reporting, documentation and review to determine that lending to the respective segments is within acceptable risk.
- Ensure all staff are up to date with product knowledge, product use, and related product application and enlightened with the business changes and dynamics.
- Prepare performance and business trends reports.
- Conduct digital lending product Performance and trends and give insights on the industry and future direction of the industry.
- Champion growth of digital lending products by identifying differentiated customer outreach approach.
- Deal with customers’ queries concerning digital lending products and advising the business on how to improve service delivery to our clients.
- Support branches in all areas pertaining digital lending.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance or Business Administration,
- At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency and Practical experience in data analytics and use of relevant MIS, BI & MS Office applications and statistical computer languages e.g. SQL, R, Python.
Quality Analyst-Digital Lending
Primary responsibilities:
- Ensure quality of the sprint planning process by ensuring best practices are adhered to in the process.
- Take part in story kickoffs alongside the other relevant team members to ensure the entry criteria into development is attained.
- Take part in desk checks, to ensure that a story, task meets the minimal acceptance criteria before it is said to be done.
- Write automated tests to facilitate regression testing in the event of the addition of new features that could potentially break the existing features.
- Perform manual exploratory testing.
- Perform automated load testing.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance or Business Administration,
- At least 4 years of relevant experience working experience as an intermediate quality analyst.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
