Pharmacist
Responsibilities
- Be in-charge of all the medications dispensed in the hospital.
- Monitor use and safety of medications.
- Advise medical officers on the best possible treatment for specific diseases.
- Ensure that patients understand the medication and any side effects and/or drug interactions.
- Provide a final check of the prescription by the pharmacy technologists before the drug is given to the patients.
- Maintain confidential records of all patients.
- Provide advice on the essential drugs list, storage and determine inventory level.
- Supervise pharmacy staff members as well as train them on drug knowledge.
- Advise and Implement pharmacy policy guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Must have a Degree in Pharmacy.
- Must have a valid Certificate from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Must have working experience of not less than 3 years in the health care industry.
Dentist
Responsibilities
- Patient Care and Management
- Patient consultation
- Diagnosis of dental diseases and conditions

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Must possess a Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized university in Kenya.
- Must be registered and have a valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council
- At least Two (2) years post internship experience in a busy Dental clinic.

Pharmaceutical Technologist
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting doctors’ orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibilities
- Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
- Control medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions
- Provide pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies.
- Protect patients and technicians by adhering to infection control protocols.

ICT Officer
Responsibilities
- Ensure all servers and computers join active directory and they have the right group policies before joining organization’s network.
- Install, configure, monitor and maintain all servers/computer systems i.e., operating systems, anti-virus software, productivity software (Microsoft Office), enterprise resource planning system, and any other ICT systems that may be in use in the Hospital.
- Ensure data of all computer systems are backed up both onsite and offsite and they are kept updated and optimally configured with latest software patches and database updates e.g., Anti-virus.
- Ensure availability and access to email and Internet for all the Hospital users.
- Provide first line software and hardware support to the Hospital users, and effectively manage second-line or outsourced support services as well as service & maintenance of ICT equipment.
- Serve as the ICT point of contact for third parties, i.e., ICT vendors for goods and services, on all ICT matters in the Hospital.
- Participate in reviewing, formulating and implementing the ICT Policy for the organization.
- Participate in identification and prioritization of ICT needs for the organization.
- Provide technical and operational advice, and coordinate the procurement and implementation of IT projects when the need arises.
- Carry out or organize for ICT training for users where required.
- Oversee change management and ICT technology upgrades to keep the organization at the cutting edge in ICT use.
- Manage the Hospital’s systems, websites and professional and social network portals
- Oversee ICT use and security audits and ensure addressing of all issues raised after each audit.
- Manage VOIP and Conference calls for the Hospital and ensure all the office telephone services are up at all times.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information System or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Programming experience in Java, C++, PHP, PL/SQL, Crystal reports. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is a plus
- Proven working experience as an IT Officer. Work experience in a hospital set up is an added advantage.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

Community Health Oral Officer
Responsibilities
- Prepare the treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Screen patients, review each patient’s oral health history and teach appropriate brushing and flossing techniques.
- welcome, comfort and drape patients.
- Perform oral examinations, charting, cleaning of teeth and polishing.
- Perform simple extractions, place fissure sealants, apply topical fluorides and temporary fillings.
- Use the dental X-ray machine to take dental radiographs and develop the film for the dentist’s analysis.
- Review pre-operative settings and make sure that the dentist has what is required to carry out dental procedures; i.e. provide necessary help to the dentist, including mixing materials, trimming, and polishing dental casts.
- Implement and adhere to infection prevention protocols including autoclaving instruments after use, cleaning the dental procedures’ space and storage of the clean instruments.
- Maintain a record of day-to-day activities of the dental unit and prepare regular reports as needed.
- manage equipment inventory and supplies at the dental unit. This will include preparing orders as needed to avoid stock outs.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Community Oral Health from Kenya Medical Training College or an equivalent recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years working experience as a Community Oral Health Officer in a reputable health facility is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Computer skills
- Registered as a Community Oral Health Officer with the regulatory body.
- Valid current Practicing License.

Biomedical Engineer
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance in line with manufacturers’ recommendations and prepare the related compliance and calibration reports.
- Diagnose problems when machinery breaks down, decide the best repair methods and ensure repairs are carried out in a timely manner
- Service and replace faulty biomedical equipment
- Ensure timely response to the job requests from the various departments
- Recommend outsourcing of works that are beyond the scope of internal resources and supervise outsourced contractors on site
- Requisition and ensure adequate stocks of supplies and equipment in the stores
- Prepare the biomedical budget and monitor its implementation upon approval
- Maintain up to date records of maintenance costs, incidents and procedures
- Ensure adherence to the PPM schedule and health and safety standards

- Registration with a professional body will be an added advantage.
Accounts Assistant
Responsibilities
- Validate sales revenue; manage invoicing within established deadlines including posting collections, drawing up records, auditing invoices and performing end-of-month closings
- Timely receivables and collections reporting. Processing payments and invoices accurately
- Verify financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate
- Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, goods in transit and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare inputs into the monthly management accounts and originate the necessary journals
