Sacco Sales Executives – Mombasa

Our client a SACCO based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a result oriented, team player, aggressive and self-motivated  Sales Executives to be located at Mombasa to start as an intern for four months after which he may be considered based on performance.

Job Summary
To drive sales by designing and implementing targeted sales and marketing strategies, maintain outstanding customer relationships, creating and tracking sales and performance reports.

Duties
1. Recruit new members from staff of existing and new organizations while ensuring compliance to Sacco policies and procedures.
2. Establish new accounts and service existing accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule by maintaining records on customer details, sales visits and book calendars for the visits.
3. Maintain long-term relationships with members by providing support, information and guidelines including recommending new opportunities available in the Sacco products and services.
4. Participate in planning, organization, promotion and execution of SACCO sales and marketing events as assigned by the Sales & Marketing Manager from time to time.
5. Consistently track sales performance, measure and analyze monthly sales projections.
6. Ensure that account’s (membership) retention is maintained at the Sacco target level.
7. Assist in co-ordination, organization and participate in member education events.

Qualifications & Experience
a. At least two (2) years proven field sales and marketing preferably a man based in Mombasa town or its environs experience between 23 – 35 years.
b. At least a diploma in sales, marketing, communication, sales and marketing, business management or in any other business-related fields, a bachelor’s degree is a definite added advantage
c. Proficiency in computer skills

1. Strong negotiations and persuasive skills with charisma, and a deep understanding of changing market dynamics and sales strategies.
2. Thorough knowledge of principles of sales & marketing coupled with brand, product and service management
3. Aggressive, self-motivated, focused person with the right attitude towards performance-based work environment.
4. Ability to work independently with minimum or no supervision with outstanding interpersonal skills.
5. Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills
6. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
7. A person of high integrity and a team player
8. Analytical and report writing skills.

Compensation
A starting working retainer of 20 K together with attractive commissions.
