Senior Data Scientist

Brief Description        

• Job Purpose Statement: The holder of this position will be responsible for managing the data science and engineering team, planning projects, and building analytics models. They should have a strongproblem-solving ability and a knack for statistical analysis. The expectation for this role is to have proper understanding of the application of various tools, data mining, methodologies, statistical techniques, algorithms, and machine learning and AI principles to identify trends, patterns, and insights from raw data. The holder will extract meaning from data, uncover insights and identify opportunities to inform business decision making

Detailed Description        

• Managing an agile team of data scientists, machine learning engineers and big data specialists.
• Leading in modern, secure, and scalable data mining, collection, and consolidation procedures
• Leading in evaluation of Machine Learning models to ensure to ensure they achieve over 98% performance.
• Delivery of Data Analytics solutions using common data science toolkits, such as Python, SAS, R, SPSS, etc.
• Conducting EDA, data extraction, data cleaning and documentation of created models.
• Delivering projects within the allocated timeline
• Use agile scrum framework in team and projects management.
• Ensuring company-wide data quality and integrity.
• Interpreting and analyzing data problems.
• Conceiving, planning and prioritizing data projects.

Job Requirements        

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science or related degree
• Proven working experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, and skills as in Big Data Analysis
• Machine learning skills: The Senior data scientist must have a deep understanding of machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Programming skills: The person should have strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL, which is essential to develop and execute algorithms and models.
• Big Data Experience: The job holder should have experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL
• Data visualization: Senior data scientists should be able to use data visualization tools to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in working with Big Data Cloud solutions.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of data warehouse engineers effectively (at least 2 years leading teams)
• Proper understanding of the Data Life Cycle Management
• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and insights from large and complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• 5 years’ experience and proven performance in design and implementation of Data Science and Analytics projects (including ML and AI projects), 2 of which were in positions managing teams and projects.

Technology Quality Assurance Analyst

Brief Description        

Job Purpose Statement: The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for implementing governance around quality assurance processes, setting up quality gates, and assessing the maturity of the QA organization. He /she will also enforce adherence to QA processes with constant assessment and reporting. He/she will also be accountable for the implementation of a test environment management strategy and ensure the availability of test environments. He/she is also accountable for test resources management and ensuring that these are available within stipulated timelines and SLAs.

Detailed Description        

• Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that systems and products meet the required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
• Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for systems, products, and business rules.
• Identifies reports and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
• Involved in the creation and execution of test plans and participates in product testing.
• Develop and maintain testing documentation.
• Ensure that QA/QC processes are in place, maintained throughout the IT systems implementation and software development life cycles, and reviewed/revisited periodically to ensure all standard operating procedures reflect the most up-to-date, internationally accepted practices, ensure compliance with evolving innovations, and ensure responsiveness to new technologies as they become available.
• Communicates quality standards and parameters to Project Team, development team, and other appropriate staff.
• Perform quality assurance role for any IT systems replacement, major upgrade or acquisitions.
• Review customer user feedback to confirm quality.
• Maintains compliance with the relevant local and international applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
• Develop and maintain systems and products quality assurance policies, procedures, and QA success criterion.
• Undertake systems quality assurance reviews and recommend corrective actions.

Job Requirements        

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Certification in project management is an added advantage (prince2, prince2 Agile, PMP).
• At least 5 years overall IT experience with 2 years in quality assurance role

Quality Control Agent

Brief Description        

• To ensure and maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment, incompliance with the relevant industry regulatory and legislative requirements, company procedures and requirements of customer airlines with regards to cabin appearance. Develop and coordinate activities and programmes to meet and maintain quality standards.

• Job Purpose Statement: The Solution Architect will be responsible for strategic design and planning of solutions within the KQ technology environment. She/he will be the leader of the process that develops solutions to fit an enterprise architecture in terms of a business, information, and technical standpoint. Technology Solutions Delivery team has faced challenges in ensuring suitable designs.
