Ecosystem Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis: Analyze trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies within the DFS ecosystem, sharing insights with the strategy office and business units to drive informed decision-making.
  • Commercialization Strategy Development: Craft and implement commercialization strategies tailored to the DFS ecosystem, focusing on payments, credit, and fintech innovations to maximize ecosystem value.
  • Unified Sales and Service Approach: Collaborate with various business units, including Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, and Treasury, to develop a cohesive sales strategy that integrates all DFS offerings.
  • Customer Onboarding and Integration: Design and implement seamless onboarding programs for customers within the DFS ecosystem, ensuring smooth integration into the value chain and enhancing customer experience.
  • Ecosystem Business Planning: Lead business planning for the DFS sector and sub-segments, aligning strategies with Relationship Managers and ensuring that all initiatives support the overall business objectives.
  • Product and Service Bundling: Coordinate cross-functional efforts to bundle digital financial services, such as payments and credit products, into comprehensive solutions that meet ecosystem needs.
  • Business Development: Identify and explore new business opportunities within the DFS ecosystem, working closely with Relationship Managers to acquire new clients and build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Tailored Financial Solutions: Collaborate with product teams to develop innovative, technology-driven financial solutions tailored to the needs of different DFS ecosystem participants, with a focus on value-based pricing and rapid adoption.
  • Performance Metrics and KPIs: Work with the strategy division to establish and monitor KPIs and performance targets, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall strategic goals and implementing revenue-sharing mechanisms where applicable.
  • Credit Risk Management: Partner with the Risk Function to develop a value-chain approach to credit risk assessment and management, utilizing DFS data to streamline the credit process and enhance decision-making.

Mortgage Performance Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of the results of the division’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
  • Extract, generate and maintain Mortgage related data from various source points including Data warehouse (EDWH), T24, Tranzware, Mobireg portal, BPM & Credit Quest (CQ) ensuring accuracy and completeness with key focus on transforming monitoring reports from data warehouse tables (using SQL Oracle scripts) and CQ into consumable formats.
  • Demonstrate insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business area partners/heads and management in order to drive business results.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis and develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and 3-year strategic plans in conjunction with the Director’s line managers. 
  • Review monthly expenses to ensure that expenses are booked correctly and work with Finance team to make necessary adjustments and undertake Cost/income evaluations and follow-up on revenue and cost reduction techniques. Investigate possible cost saving areas
  • Working with the respective Relationship Manager ensure timely submission of  quartely reports to KMRC and all the other Scheme Administrators.
  • Maintain productivity dashboards for all the Mortgage Relationship managers, Mortgage DSRS’ and other RM’s in the bank and the regions.
  • Research, market and competitor analysis to ensure proper bench marking of the mortgage product.
  • Carry out daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and on ad hoc basis in-depth performance analysis to cover trend and growth comparisons by sector, individual productivity, customer services and controls while translating complex data into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders vis a vis results achieved and advising the Mortgage Director appropriately for decision making.
  • Holding custody of the Division’s business targets for the year in focus and updating or revising as advised by the Director Mortgage and championing the Division’s business initiatives such as product development, sales improvement, and product penetration review.
  • Validate data accuracy and integrity by conducting quality checks on data outputs for quality assurance. Responsible for providing quality and timely administrative services and liaison. 
  • Maintaining a database of training needs for the various staff cadres in the Division and assisting in scheduling for training in conjunction with HR and other Head Office functions.
  • Development and implementation of a mortgage academy in conjunction with the various relevant units
  • Advising the Mortgage Director on the daily performance of the Divisions key business deliverables per segment including update on wave on progress of key mortgage initiatives.
  • Maintaining and circulating business information received from the Division and other Head Office functions to the bank’s branch network securely with due regard for confidentiality and following up on pending issues from Branch Managers, Corporate Division and other Head office functions for closure.

  • Drive daily usageof the assigned product portfolio performance in partnership with Strategy, Credit and Lending Risk teams to ensure customer growth, utilization, limits management, reduction in attrition & churn and effective recovery of customers with customer value management teams.

Customer Insights Analyst – Digital Financial Services Division

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Providing guidance, analysis and support through data and market insight on technology impacting financial services. 
  • Deliver real time insight into the market place and help focus our innovation and development process in the most relevant area. 
  • Work closely with research team to carry design and roll out researches to check customer and market insights to support business case developments, products design and user journey workings
  • Participate in research design, analysis and the presentation of data to uncover unique actionable insights about behavior, technology & financial services
  • Define insightful hypotheses and identify methods to leverage KCB’s large internal data sets to validate hypotheses and enhance 3rd party research work with proprietary data.

Finance Associate/Fund Accountant

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement company and fund structures on accounting system.
  • Prepare and compile company budgets and analyse financial reports and report variance against budget on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in design and implementation of internal audit practices and procedures.
  • Coordinate with fund administrator for accounting and reporting matters.
  • Review and coordinate fund expense analysis and expense processing.
