Job Purpose Statement
- The role of Head, Information Security will provide continuous assurance of NCBA Group’s information systems around confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, and ensure protection of these information assets by ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to protect the Group’s technology and information assets from information & cyber security related risks.
- This role will define and execute the information security strategy and roadmap for the Group, ensuring that governance and assurance in information security is enshrined and practiced within the Group, appropriate technology systems and controls are implemented, as well as ensuring that key technology projects and initiatives are compliant with security best practices and guidelines.
Ideal Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or related field required
- 7-10 years in information security or information security governance experience, with 5 years in a managerial role within a highly digitized organization, with a proven ability to engage with Senior Management and regulators.
- 4+ years’ experience conducting IT compliance assessments or administering IT security controls in an organization.
- Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases and systems in relation to IT Security and IT Risk.
- Experience with security technologies & controls including IPS/IDS, SIEM, DLP and other security technologies.
- Relevant certifications in information security knowledge areas, such as Information Systems Audit, Information Security Management and Ethical Hacking.
- Knowledge of: Strong Authentication, End Point Security, Internet Policy Enforcement, Firewalls, Web Content Filtering, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Manager, Retail Banking Scorecards and Risk-Based Pricing
Job Purpose Statement
To achieve business growth in Retail banking through review, development, testing and performance of scoring models contributing to the development of the Retail products strategy, translating the strategy into performance that will deliver revenue, profitability and share of market objectives. The role will focus on
- Development, review and refining of score cards with an aim to achieve risk based pricing for Consumer Banking Customers
- Testing of score cards and data analysis to review performance
- Integration of scorecards into the existing bank systems
- Collecting and evaluating information to determine the potential risks of certain events and their financial impact on businesses or individuals within Consumer Banking.

Business Performance & Reporting Manager
Job Purpose Statement
- The main purpose of this role is to support Corporate Group Director’s office in Strategy development and implementation, sales development and management, portfolio and market analysis and performance management as well as offer project management support to ensure effective and timely implementation of Business Units strategic projects.
- In particular, ensure that activities being implemented align to the Bank’s overall strategic objectives and budgets. To work with senior leadership to chart the course, expand business by facilitating the implementation of strategic initiatives that the Group Corporate Banking should be focused on. This includes the defined and approved target market that supports the bank’s capital allocation, revenue and balance sheet targets and facilitate the development of different strategies for growth and increased profitability at portfolio level.
- The role will also provide direct support to Corporate Banking Division by preparing reports that provide analytical insights for business analysis and performance measurement. This includes examining cash flow and financial statements to generate summary reports, developing financial models and preparing forecasting reports for financial projections.
- The role also works alongside other business analysis units across the bank to prepare ad hoc analyses for change projectsin aid of decision making.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, computer science or related field from a recognized accredited university.
Experience
- At least 6 years’ experience working in the area of data analysis in a role requiring:
- Ability to understand business at a level of detail that enables them to identify and document business requirements and address critical issues;
- Adeptness at queries, report writing and presenting findings as well as oral and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated understanding of the design and development of reporting tools and dashboards;
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.),

Assistant Relationship Manager
Job Purpose Statement
- The role holder is required to achieve customer growth and retention management for a specific portfolio through collaborative account plan management with the Relationship Management teams and other stakeholders in the organisation.
- They shall serve as the voice of customer within the Bank, ensuring that all promises made to the customer through the relationship management teams are fulfilled. The role holder shall manage the sector’s operational duties, customer queries and arising complaints to closure by closely coordinating interactions between customers and internal stakeholders. They shall be held responsible for achieving process improvement and change management within the corporate banking department.

Job Purpose Statement
- The role holder will manage a portfolio of large corporate customers; serve as their primary point of contact and financial advisor as well as prospect for and acquire new corporate customers to grow the Bank’s revenue and share of wallet for the assigned industry in line with the Bank’s strategy.
- Customer acquisition, satisfaction, growth, retention, cross selling and prevention of business loss are critical to succeed in this role. This role will be responsible for preparation of credit applications, annual reviews and all customer related credit requests for approval.

Job Purpose Statement
- This role will be responsible for systems support on IBPS, NOBS, NLS systems, and Credit Quest. The preferred candidate will also act as a business analyst for IBPS, NLS, NOBS and Credit Quest Systems delivery and a relationship manager to the Related System users and ensuring Service Level agreements of uptime and performance are attained and maintained at all times. This includes support for projects and changes carried out on any of these applications
- In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts the Branch Applications Specialist will schedule and direct activities to resolve IBPS, NLS, NOBS, Credit Quest software and service problems in a timely and accurate fashion according to agreed SLA
