Van Sales Representive
Job Summary:
- Our client sells alcohol wholesale. The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for selling our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) products directly to customers, ensuring optimal distribution and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Actively seek new customers and develop strong relationships with existing ones.
- Conduct regular visits to retailers and other potential clients to promote products and generate sales.
- Set and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
- Utilize persuasive selling techniques to influence customer purchasing decisions.
- Stay informed about the features and benefits of our FMCG products.
- Provide accurate information and educate customers on product specifications.
- Receive and process customer orders promptly and accurately.
- Ensure adequate product availability and manage inventory levels in the van.
- Efficiently plan and organize daily routes to maximize time and reach all assigned sales locations.
- Monitor and manage van stock levels to meet demand.
- Gather information on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Provide regular feedback to the sales team and management on market conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions and orders.
- Submit timely and detailed sales reports to the Sales Manager.
Qualification & Experience
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in FMCG sales or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with the assigned sales territory is a plus.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and reporting.
