Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:

•  University Degree in a Business/IT Related Field – Minimum Upper 2nd Class Honours

Professional:

•  ACIB/AKIB Banking qualifications will be an added advantage.
•  A professional qualification in IT or project management field is an added advantage.

Desired work experience:

•  1 year customer service roles in the financial sector will be an added advantage
•  Proficient in Ms Office Suite – Ms Word, Power Point, Ms Visio, Ms Excel, Ms Access etc.

Financial Advisor

Job Purpose Statement

• The Financial Advisor role is responsible for offering sound strategic, medium term and day to day investment advice to retail investors in the securities market. Monitoring, analysing and continuously improving the brokerage business by conducting client/market research and analysing economic, capital market and industry trends to make investment recommendations to retail investors. The holder will is tasked with managing a portfolio of clients by acquisition and retention and maintain a well segmented structure to ensure efficiency and optimal client engagement and support to develop a robust trading and investment culture.

Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:

•  Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or other business related discipline

Professional:

•  CISI Level II or III/CMA Exemption Certificate
•  ATS certification (desirable)
•  ICIFA associate or full membership.

Desired work experience:

•  Minimum 3 years’ experience in the capital markets or financial services industry.
•  Successful track record in Business Development
•  Deep knowledge of the Financial Markets

Retail Analyst

Job Purpose Statement

• To carry out credit appraisals on Asset Finance applications (customers whose borrowing is below 35M), in compliance with the bank’s risk exposure and in conformity to the prevailing credit policy. Role holder will also maintain customer relationships through efficient and timely service.

Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business related field.

Professional:

• Credit management, Accounting, or banking qualification.

Desired work experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in banking and financial analysis.
