Merchandising Intern – Medical Supplies
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Non-negotiable Experience/Skill-set: Some experience with medical/health-related products and substantial understanding of the mechanics/utilization/specifications of the Medical Supplies products showcased on our e-store, https://shopit.co.ke/ (Hospital & Medical Devices, Mobility & Orthopedic Supplies, Medical Apparel, Personal Medical Care, etc.).
- Consistent engagement with Medical Supplies products/equipment in the market and as per customer requests/needs.
- Merchandising/Sourcing for Medical Supplies.
- Up-to-date on trends and market analysis on Medical Supplies.
- Ensure effective merchandising and cataloging of Medical Supplies.
- Offer technical customer service and sales support for the Medical Supplies Category.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Healthcare; Diploma in Health/Medical Devices, Diagnostics, and Equipment, Hospital/Medical Business Administration, Health/Medical Sales and Marketing, or a related field in Health/Medical field.
- Preferably have experience in technical product(s) merchandising, technical customer service and sales with Medical Supplies.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service and customer care skills
- Experience in Healthcare with IT, Retail, or e-Business industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and proactively influence others.
- Interest/Passion in Healthcare/Medicine and Health/Medical products and equipment.
- Must have a substantial understanding of the specifications and utilization of a large range of Medical Supplies products and equipment.
Merchandising Intern – Industrial & Scientific Products
