Lecturer, Grade 12

REQUIREMENTS
A candidate must:

• Have a PhD in Nursing with a specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing or Oncology in addition to a Master’s degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or its equivalent qualification from an accredited and recognized University

OR

• Have a Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing or Oncology in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (in some special cases) with 3 years teaching experience at the University.
• Have a Minimum of 24 publication points of which 16 should be from refereed journal papers.
• Be registered and have a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya. 

Clinical Instructor Grade 9

A candidate must

• Have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or its equivalent qualification from an accredited and recognized University.
• Be registered and have a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
• Have at least two (2) years post-qualifications work experience with evidence of clinical teaching

Technologist Grade 8

A candidate must:

• Have a Higher National Diploma or a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science or its equivalent qualification from an accredited and recognized University.
• Have at least two (2) years’ experience for those with Higher National Diploma in a Research or Academic Institution while, the Bachelor Degree holders with experience will have added advantage.
• Be registered with the relevant professional body.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide clearance from (a) Kenya Revenue Authority (b) Higher Education Loans Board (c) Ethics and Anti-Corruption

Commission and (d) Certificate of Good Conduct from Criminal Investigation Department.
