Head – Towerco Sourcing

Overall Job Purpose:

  • Development and management of organizations key strategic projects of organization around monetization of the infrastructure assets of the company, especially Tower Cos
  • Management of Supply chain components related to Tower-Co.
  • End to end contract governance, sourcing of new sites, energy efficiencies, reconciliations, vendor governance and management
  • Responsible for driving sustainability actions in the Supply Chain Realm

Job Responsibilities:

Sourcing – Towerco:

  • Continuous market benchmarking of Tower lease Master Service Agreements of all Tower Companies
  • Work closely with Airtel leadership for developing various Strategic plans to reduce rent & Energy Opex
  • Develop various models for Tower energy cost reimbursement
  • Work with Technical to develop various energy reduction solutions and develop new partners for these solutions
  • Source Tower related capex items like Tower structures – GBT/RTT/GBM/RTP/COWs (Cell on Wheels)
  • Develop new TowerCos, negotiate and sign Master Service agreements with them.
  • Negotiate and sign new agreements with existing TowerCos for rental and energy charges for new technology/ new electronics/ new solutions to be deployed at towers.

Contract Management & Governance:

  • Ownership & management of Tower related Network operating expenses mainly rental & energy.
  • Contract & Relationship management with all Tower Companies (TowerCos).
  • Regular governance with all Tower Companies.
  • SLA/KPI management as per MSAs with TowerCos.
  • Work closely with TowerCos for development of new processes which ensure timely ordering and execution of sites.
  • Support Business & Network teams in terms of managing escalations related to TowerCos.
  • Ensuring timely payments to TowerCos.
  • Work with internal finance teams and TowerCos to prepare annual budget for Tower related expenses; streamline financial provisioning processes or any such process which involve Towercos.

People:

  • Work closely with OpCo teams for discharge of all activities related to TowerCos on ground.
  • Continuously coach and train OpCo teams on Towercos MSAs

Category Manager – Data Center Procurement Lead

Overall Job Purpose:

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities related to the construction, build-out, and ongoing operations of data centers. This role will ensure the efficient sourcing of services, equipment, materials, and technology needed to meet project timelines and budget constraints while maintaining high quality and compliance with industry standards and company policies.

  • The Role requires a significant amount of coordination and team work between the HQ Supply Chain and the Data Center Subject-Matter Experts, as well as the Opco both in the adaptation of various Strategies to the Opco environments, the development of those strategies as well as the execution of the same.
  • Creation of Economic and Shareholder Value through the application of best in class tools, techniques and methodologies as well the mitigation of all forms of commercial and supply chain risks to preserve any value created are key imperatives for this role.
  • The Role holder will also be responsible from the operations as aspects of the category right from ensuring Requisition to Pay (R2P) and will be the key driver of the company’s eSourcing suit and well as enforcing the compliance to procurement policy.
  • Key Performance Indicators include the delivery of savings & the avoidance of costs, the speed of demand fulfilment & order turnaround, the direct and/or indirect contribution to EBITDA and maintenance of high partner performance scores.
