Marketer

Overview:

The Nairobi Marketer will be responsible for promoting our medical laboratory services within Nairobi and surrounding areas. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the local healthcare landscape.

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase awareness and drive utilization of our laboratory services in Nairobi.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals, and other potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the Nairobi market.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Track and analyze marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on marketing activities and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Nairobi healthcare market and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Nairobi and surrounding areas as needed.

Finance Analyst

Overview:

Responsible for supporting the company with Strategy planning and budgeting, review of cost optimization, ad-hoc reporting, commercial contract/ investment review, board presentation preparation, and performance analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyzing current and past financial data
  • Looking at current financial performance and identifying trends
  • Preparing reports on the above information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider business
  • Consulting with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans
  • Suggesting budgets and improvements based on the above information
  • Exploring different investment opportunities
  • Developing financial models and providing financial forecasts
  • Developing initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Finance, commerce, or other relevant business disciplines
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite – Ms-Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with business planning, budgeting and budget review processes, and enterprise performance analytics and reporting
  • Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations. CPA/ ACCA qualification is an added advantage
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant commercial and/ or management reporting experience
  • Working knowledge of ERPs will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and post-investment review tools and methodologies will be an added advantage
