Admin Manager

The company is seeking to recruit 1 competent and qualified Admin Manager with at least 3 years’ experience with the following descriptions and specifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
  • Recruit and train personnel and allocate responsibilities and office space
  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
  • Manage schedules and deadlines
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
  • Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
  • Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.)
  • Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations
  • Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
  • Other tasks assigned

Education and other qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a related field, such as management or financial reporting, preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and time, task, and resource management skills.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office.
  • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.

Imports and Export Intern

The company is seeking to recruit 1 competent and qualified Imports and Export Intern with with the following descriptions and specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Requesting Coal SDS and timely renewal of mining permit
  • Follow up timely registration of entries for Import and export orders
  • Preparing of new orders for export to TZ, UG, RWANDA, BURUNDI, ZAMBIA, SOMALIA
  • Timely booking of vessel for export to Somalia. Ensuring clearance is finalized before cut off time.
  • Timely OA application for vat, aca, ucr, Agency and miscellaneous payments
  • Sharing payment advices with suppliers for SOA reconciliation.
  • keeping excel record-updating truck status, loading dates, documents preparation and received dates, border arrival and warehouse receiving dates.
  • Updating all import and export document in the share folder
  • Monthly sharing of clearance documents with finance monthly.
  • Receive, confirm and share DNS to agents for C2 and Exit notes processing upon trucks loading
  • Reconcile with planning and Agents on loading and system balances
  • Sharing EAC weekly and monthly report.
  • Other tasks assigned by the leadership.

Education and other qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to international business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software

Light Cargo Sales Manager

The company is seeking to recruit 1 competent and qualified Light Cargo Sales Manager with at least 3 years experience with the following descriptions and specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Kenya light cargo sanitary ware team
  • Investigate market information
  • Assist in formulating relevant policies
  • Reasonably arrange team work and create a good team atmosphere,
  • Improve team training and provide professional skills and other training to the team on a regular basis as required:
  • Organize two regular department meetings for employees as required to ensure the quality of the meetings and to be held on time.
  • Report on the overall work of the team to direct superiors as required:
  • Ensure that the team’s overall work tasks are completed on time and with quality
  • Other tasks assigned by the leadership

Education and other qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience in cargo operations, logistics, or transportation
  • Knowledge of Industry Standards.
  • Team Collaboration.
  • Have good communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Should be detail oriented.
  • Ability to strictly abide by company rules and regulations without any disciplinary violations.

Purchasing Intern

The company is seeking to recruit 1 competent and qualified Purchasing Intern with at least 1 year experience with the following descriptions and specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily inquiry and quotation, order placement and payment of coal procurement and related transportation business
  • Responsible for monitoring the delivery performance and providing timely feedback on delivery exceptions
  • Responsible for demand management, monitoring and reporting on order quantities and inventory quantes Assisting in the completion of other urgent matters

Education and other qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Attentive and responsive
  • Proficiency in basic office software
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, skill and systems
