Computer Science Teacher

Learning Support Teacher

Learning support teacher with experience in handling a cross section of SEN students. Having a bias in mathematics, being able to handle primary and secondary mathematics will be an added advantage.

Legal Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the legal department, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Manage and organize legal documents and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and update the law library and legal databases.
  • Prepare and process correspondence, reports, and other legal documents.
  • Manage departmental diaries and reminder systems to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Support the legal team in the preparation of evidence and hearings.
  • Assist in debt collection and related matters in accordance with the company’s debt collection policy and guidelines.
  • Prepare and process debt collection documents.
  • Follow up on outstanding debts and provide regular updates to the legal team.
  • Conduct routine court, lands’, companies’, local authorities’, and other government registry assignments.
  • Conduct searches and register documents in various registries.
  • Obtain statutory approvals and licenses.
  • Serve and receive court and other legal documents.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of court cases and matters within the department.
  • Attend court when required for filing, document delivery, or other assigned tasks.
  • Ensure all legal documents are filed, organized, and easily retrievable.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all legal documents and information.

Experience and Competencies Required:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • A degree in a related field is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal environment, preferably as a Legal Clerk or similar role.
  • Experience in debt collection and registry operations is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Kenyan legal procedures and regulations.
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
