EXTERNAL RECRUITMENT– CREDIT ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY

Springboard Capital Ltd is seeking to hire a Credit Analyst to be based at the CPA Center Head Office, who will be reporting to the Credit Manager.

SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE:

The position will confirm credibility of all loan applications for loan disbursement.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, financial statements, loan security documents and other financial information.
2. Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit status, and undertake relevant evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
3. Evaluate and advise on a client’s ability to pay based on analysis of their finances.
4. Obtain credit information from credit institutions and references.
5. Respond to client inquiries regarding applications for credit and credit transactions.
6. Process approved loans for disbursement.
7. Generate customer feedback on loan applications.
8. Undertake business and home visits to validate applications.
9. Review and update credit and loan files.
10. Undertake data entry on approved loans.
11. Undertake timely valuation renewals after contract expiry.
12. Continuous professional development to keep up with current industry trends.
13. Prepare and submit timely reports and information for decision making.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounts, Finance, or related from a recognized institution.
2.  Professional Credit or Accounting qualifications is an added advantage.
3. Minimum of two (2) years practical experience in banking with proven result-oriented track record in credit.
4. Proficiency in ICT with strong MS Office and internet ability.
5. Ability to interpret Financials and make sound decisions out of it.
6. Analytical and keen to details.
7.  High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Good communication skills and customer service oriented.

Springboard Capital Ltd is seeking to hire a Relationship Officer to be based at the CPA Center Branch, who will be reporting to the Branch Manager – CPA. 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

1. Grow a healthy loan portfolio by developing an excellent and complete understanding of the company products and services
2. Develop a base for long-term sources of clients through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face, cold calling on business owners/decision-makers, emails and networking to manage and grow the loan portfolio.
3. Monitor, analyze and review customer retention data and use findings to improve prospect targeting and conversion to customers.
4. Respond to client inquiries regarding applications for credit and credit transactions.
5. Generate customer feedback on loan applications.
6. Undertake business and home visits to validate applications.
7. Undertake timely valuation renewals after contract expiry.
8. Prepare and submit timely reports and information for decision making.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

1. Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Related Course from a recognized institution
2. At least 3 years working experience in a credit-related role in the financial industry
3. Professional Banking qualification will be an added advantage
4. Proficiency in ICT with strong MS Office and internet ability

1. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of Management and Stakeholders from varied backgrounds
2. Strong analytical thinking and financial reporting skills
