Housekeeping Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect guest cottages and surrounding areas for cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with QA and Maintenance Managers on preventative maintenance.
- Assist the hospitality manager with guest rooming and conduct room orientations.
- Build relationships with guests through meet & greet, feedback solicitation, and engagement.
- Ensure turndown and room service meet standards and guest needs.
- Address guest comfort issues in collaboration with the Hospitality Manager.
- Manage and monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, detergents, linens, and other housekeeping materials.
- Conduct inventory checks and order supplies as needed, ensuring proper storage and safety.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of laundry equipment and schedule regular servicing.
- Regularly inspect finished laundry for quality and efficiency.
- Maintain records of inspections, cleaning schedules, and inventory.
- Assist in budget preparation and control for housekeeping and laundry departments.
- Produce clear reports and effective handovers before leave periods.
- Plan and communicate housekeeping team duties and manage leave schedules.
- Facilitate training and provide immediate feedback to team members.
- Review and train staff on SOPs, safety procedures, and emergency protocols regularly.
- Manage the performance development program for all team members.
- Participate in the recruitment process as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in hospitality.
- Must have 5+ years’ experience as housekeeping supervisor and with vast experience in laundry for a high-end hotel.
- Must be proficient in world-class housekeeping standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills handling both housekeeping and laundry teams.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and time management abilities.
Accounts Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with both clerical and administrative
- Posting daily credit notes for all delivery notes returned
- Filing all documents and maintain sequential files
- Organize cheques collection, prepare bank deposits and general ledger postings
- Assist in client/supplier accounts reconciliation
- Managing office petty cash
- Confirm payments on the Mpesa paybill and
- Handling accounts payables and receivables.
- Handling bank reconciliations.
- Handle statutory and payroll.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least CPA II.
- Must have over 3 years’ experience in finance.
- High professional integrity and organizational skills.
- Must be proficient with QuickBooks.
- Flexible able to work half day on Saturday and extend working hours on demand.
- Must be able to work under high pressure in a fast-paced
- Experience with working in the food/agricultural industry is a plus.
