The Role

Reporting to the General Manager MIB, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of revenue growth and volume targets Development by promoting and selling Majani Insurance Brokers products in designated/identified market segments in order to ensure revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, and formulating policies, strategies, and plans to achieve the set business development and sales targets for the company.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Management, Insurance, or a related field from a recognized Institution
  • A master’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Management, Insurance, or a related field from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage.

Reporting to the Group Company Secretary successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Legal & Regulatory department, provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.

  • Reviewing and advising management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enforcing compliance with the legal framework, policies, and procedures relating to all tax functions.
  • Responsible for tax risk management across the business
  • Ensuring timely and correct filing of all tax returns for PAYE, VAT, Corporation tax, Withholding taxes, Excise Duty, and Kenya Bureau of Standards Levy.

Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensuring solicitation, receipt, and analysis of proposals, quotations, and tender submissions and recommend selection.
  • Ensuring maintenance of updated suppliers list.
  • Ensuring procurement of various materials, works, and services for the company are at the most competitive prices.
  • Ensuring availability of an up-to-date specification list for machinery and other supplies.
  • Advising management and the Board on procurement matters.
