Sales Operations Assistant

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

  • Reporting to the Sales Team Lead, the Sales Operations Assistant will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the sales operations to ensure smooth operational processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the preparation and organization of sales-related documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage and maintain sales databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle correspondence and communication between the sales team and other departments.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, in tasks such as data entry, document preparation, filing, and making travel arrangements.
  • Analyse and assess incoming leads through various channels, such as marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and social media.
  • Interact with leads through phone calls, emails, or other communication channels to gather additional information, ensuring that only high-quality prospects are passed on to the sales team.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
  • Assist in coordinating events or initiatives related to sales operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and contracts.
  • Collaborate with the merchant services team to address customer concerns and issues.
  • Assist in analysing sales data and generating reports to support decision-making processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or sales support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A high level of personal integrity and adherence to high ethical standards are expected of you

Sales Representative

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

  • Reporting to the Sales Team Lead, the Sales Representative – Merchant Acquiring will be responsible for acquisition and growth of sustainable Business within Kenya.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Align sales strategies with company objectives as communicated by the Sales Lead
  • Identify and concentrate on potential clients to meet monthly sales targets for new business.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations that showcase product usage.
  • Schedule and conduct a minimum of 60 client meetings per month, incorporating cold calling, networking, and face-to-face interactions to generate new sales and provide ongoing support to existing clients, aiming to optimize transaction values and volumes.
  • Collaborate across functions and oversee new accounts throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless transition and fostering positive client experiences.
  • Compile and present weekly sales reports to the Sales Lead, highlighting progress toward sales targets and detailing activities and achievements.
  • Actively participate in sales roadshows, workshops, client exhibitions, and events as directed by the Sales Lead and Sales and Marketing Lead.
  • Conduct research to identify and approach potential sales targets, actively contributing to the company’s overall sales growth objectives.
  • Track and report on sales activities and progress using the company CRM system for lead identification and follow-up, maintaining a systematic approach to managing client relationships.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competition activities, and regulatory changes affecting the fintech industry

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ background in frontline sales
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
