Finance Officer
FINANCE OFFICER
- The position will be responsible for overseeing accounts receivables, creditors’ management, taxation, treasury management and ensuring compliance to the statutory requirements as well as ensuring that internal controls are adequate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deputise the Head of Finance
- Management of credit control function to ensure the revenues are well captured in the system to manage cash flow.
- Management of creditors to ensure that payments are done in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper management of funds through preparation of monthly and weekly forecasts to maintain the Institute’s sound liquidity and reputation.
- Supervise bank reconciliations to ensure data is properly captured and all transactions are in order.
- Management of fixed assets, policies and procedures to ensure employees have a conducive working environment and customer satisfaction. They can also be used as collateral in case the Institute requires extra funding.
- Carry out project related financial planning to ensure utilisation of funds.
- Train and develop departmental staff in liaison with Human Resource through carrying out a training needs assessment to enhance their skills and competence.
- Deal with external customers such as auditors, banks, service providers and suppliers to ensure compliance and seamless information flow.
- Ensure all insurance policies are in place to safeguard assets and staff of the Institute. k) Supervise proper book keeping and filing to ensure all transactions are captured well.
- Tax planning and management for compliance with the regulator to avoid penalties.

Personal Assistant To The Executive Director
PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
This position is responsible for offering administrative support to the Executive Director/CEO, working closely with Heads of Departments and the Institute at large. The position acts as a link between the Executive Director’s (ED’s) office with internal and external customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, manage and coordinate the Executive Director’s calendar to ensure all activities are executed and achieved.
- Prepare meeting venues and facilitate the Executive Committee Members’ meeting to ensure a smooth flow of activities.
- Supervise the cleaning of the ED’s office and oversee its management to ensure high hygiene standards are maintained for conducive environment.
- Provide logistical support in planning and coordinating Council Meetings together with Executive Director and Company Secretary to ensure timely readiness for all meetings.
- Maintain an efficient information and records system within the ED’s office and provide a confidential and efficient filing system for future reference.
- Advice the Executive Director on impending work and on deadlines for internal and external commitments to ensure all matters are timely addressed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field from a recognised institution.

Management Accountant
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
- The position will be responsible for ensuring that there is accurate financial recording through proper/ timely booking and posting of journal vouchers, preparation of accurate management report monitoring costs and budgets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management report to show Institution’s profitability every month.
- Prepare bank report and cash position on daily basis to inform the management on the availability of funds for planning purposes.
- Ensure all controlled accounts are reconciled on monthly basis to avoid any errors.
- Post the approved budget in the ERP for easy control purposes of the budget.
- Analyze and posting of student’s monthly income accrual to have the correct reflection of income generated.
- Post monthly journal vouchers to recognize the expenses which are of recurrent in nature (staff cost and depreciation).
- Upload student fees payment on daily basis to balance the student accounts and reduce the outstanding fees amount.
