Spa Beautician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Spa Beautician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of beauty treatments, including nails, lashes, make-up, manicures, pedicures, and hair removal techniques such as waxing, tweezing, and threading. The Spa Beautician will provide exceptional service to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling pampered and rejuvenated.

Responsibilities:

  • Nail Services: Perform manicures and pedicures, including nail shaping, cuticle care, and application of nail polish, stick ons, gel, or acrylics.
  • Lash and Brow Services: Apply eyelash extensions, perform lash lifts, and shape and tint eyebrows.
  • Make-Up Application: Provide professional make-up services for various occasions, including weddings, parties, and photoshoots.
  • Hair Removal: Conduct hair removal services using waxing, tweezing, and threading techniques.
  • Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations.
  • Skin Care: Recommend and apply skin care treatments, including facials and exfoliation.
  • Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sterilized.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and products, and recommend suitable products to clients.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and building a loyal clientele.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule and manage client appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Sales: Promote and sell beauty products and additional services to clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Beautician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in nail services, lash and brow treatments, make-up application, and hair removal techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of beauty products and trends.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Certification in Beauty Therapy or Cosmetology is preferred.
  • Body treatments certification will be an added advantage. 
  • Able to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pastry Chef

Job Description

Responsible for the management of all aspects of Pastry and Bakery sections in accordance with Hotel standards. Directs, implements, and maintains a service that guides respective employees.

  • Oversee Pastry and Bakery sections
  • Responsible for crafting delicious desserts and confectionery, designing seasonal menus, and developing new recipes for the pastry & bakery sections
  • Monitor food quality and consistency to ensure that the food presented to our guests is of the highest standard
  • Works within the monthly-set food cost budget, adjust food requisitions and controls wastage.
  • Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings from breakfast, amenities, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
  • Assist in determining how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.
  • Ensure culinary standards and responsibilities are met for pastry employees.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or related studies
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a 5* Hotel
  • Excellent knowledge on HACCP and other procedures in Food Production
  • Creative and keen on details
  • Prioritize and organize work assignments and delegate work.
  • Motivate staff and maintain a cohesive team.
  • Be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems by exercising good judgment.
  • Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Sales Manager-Leisure

Job Description

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Solicit corporate business through action plan preparation and execution.
  • Establish parameters, quotes, and negotiate prices, confirming by written contracts.
  • Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events within the hotel and trade related organizations as needed.
  • Maintain accounts, contacts, activities, and business details within the appropriate software applications.

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
