Internal Auditor I- Grade 12
Main Duties and Responsibilities;
While reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor main duties will include;
- Implementation of the Annual Audit Work Plan in the University
- Assist in the Development of the Annual Work Plans for the University
- Develop and Execute Audit Programs.
- Carry out special audit investigations as may be required from time to time
- Preparation of timely audit reports to management for informed decision making
- Professional development of Junior audit staff in the University
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations after conclusion of audit exercises
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or other related areas from a recognized university
- Bachelor degree in a Business Administration or its equivalent from a recognized university
- CPA (K) or equivalent qualification
- At least five (5) years working experience as an Internal auditor or Accountant II .
- Computer Literate
Information Systems Auditor- Grade 11
Main Duties and Responsibilities;
While reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor
- Responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting of IT Audits in the University
- Assist audit team in the extraction and analysis of data using data analytics tools and CAATs .
- In collaboration with other auditors , conduct operational compliance , financial and investigative IT audits as assigned by relevant authority
- Assist in the Development of the Annual Work Plans for the University
- Assist in training of other audit staff on use of computer assisted audit techniques
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in a Computer Science or related field from a recognized university
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) OR Certified Internal Auditor(CIA)
- At least three (3) years relevant work experience as an Information Systems Auditor or its equivalent.
- CPA (K) or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage
- Computer Literate
Caretaker- Grade III/IV
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- KCSE Grade D (Plain ) or equivalent
- Clean discharge certificate from Discipline Forces or Security firm
- At least three (3) years relevant work experience
