Chief Financial Officer

POSITION OVERVIEW

The position is responsible for providing overall strategic leadership to the finance function globally, enforce financial planning, formulate financial policies, procedures & processes, management of financial risks, oversee the cash flows and manage financial operations of the group. As the role reports to both CEO and the board, the incumbent shall be responsible for supervision and management of the day-to-day financial and accounting affairs of the Company within the guidelines established by the Board, consistent with decisions requiring prior approval of the Board and the Board’s expectations of management.

Required skills and Experience:

a) 15+ years relevant experience in Corporate Finance with 8 years at experience in leadership level in IT sector background
b) Ability to formulate and operationalize finance strategy for the organization as whole, providing strategic recommendations to the management.
c) Prior experience as an advisor, ability to develop long term integrated and cross functional operational plans.
d) Plan and perform risk management duties, operational problem solving skills.
e) Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
f) Analyze and manage the organization’s liabilities and investments strategies
g) Determine finance KPIs for the group, manage fundraising plans and capital structure
h) Hands-on experience with financial management software i.e. SAP, Expert level understanding and Hands on experience of an ERP software and MIS tools like Power BI or equivalent.
i) Experience of IT Projects Costing, IT products and solutions pricing, tendering process, public procurement process, etc.
j) Master’s degree in a relevant field degree or equivalent or CPA/CA/ACCA holder preferred

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Develop financial policies & procedures and drive conformance across the group including giving key insights that governs Company’s strategic initiatives

2.Manage budget and budgetary control process, Oversee and drive internal control measures.

3.Ensure sufficient liquidity/cash flow at all times in the Company to finance various business initiatives which includes but not limited to salary forecasting, project financing and/or overall, Company’s bottom-line is afloat. Its crucial to manage Company’s Debt/equity capital requirements.

4.Responsible for timely payments of trade/capital and operational expenses.

5.Accountable for prompt compliance matter i.e. Tax compliance, MIS Reporting and Audit Completion as per calendar statutory calendar across all countries

6.Financial risks identification and mitigation i.e. ensure the accuracy, completeness, integrity and appropriate disclosure of the Company’s financial statements and other financial information through appropriate policies and procedures.

7.MIS Reporting to Group CEO and the Board.

8.Excellent Banking Relationship management.

9.Oversee capability building and managing high performing team and mentor/ coach the Finance team and have a solid network with possible investors and donor communities.

Director, Engineering

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Engineering Center Director oversees the smooth operations of the engineering center. They play a crucial role in ensuring the engagement and productivity of employees, meeting project deliverables and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managing client relationships, developing, and coaching technical best practices, promoting continuous improvement, and participating in business development activities. The Engineering Center Director serves as a leader, motivator, and technical expert to drive the success of the center.

Required Skills & Experience:

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Required skills and qualifications:

8+ years’ experience in Project Delivery and Business Development.

Extensive experience in Technical Project Management or a similar leadership role.

Strong technical background in the software development and/or cloud.

Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects.

Proven ability to manage client relationships and negotiate contracts.

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.

Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Familiarity with business development processes and strategies

Key responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

Monitor and evaluate key performance metrics to assess the center’s performance in achieving budget targets, maintaining center certifications, and identifying areas for improvement.

2. Technical Leadership:

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and engineering best practices.

Implement process improvements, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and quality of engineering operations.

3. Business Development:

Participate in the development of proposals, presentations, and client meetings to showcase the engineering center’s capabilities and expertise.

Contribute to the creation and execution of the engineering center’s business development strategy.

4. Client Relationship Management:

Understand client objectives, anticipate future requirements, and identify opportunities to provide additional value.

Collaborate with clients to identify potential business opportunities and support business development efforts.

5. People Management:

Provide effective leadership and management of the engineering center’s personnel, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.

Recruit, hire, and onboard talented individuals who align with the organization’s goals and values.

Develop and implement strategies to retain top talent, promote employee satisfaction, and reduce turnover.

Facilitate training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance employees’ skills and competencies.

6. Project Delivery Excellence:

Develop and mentor project managers to lead the delivery of projects as per project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Direct appropriate processes, leadership, and strategy to ensure the quality of projects and initiatives to drive business value to project owners and stakeholders.

Streamline and optimize the internal processes to maximize customer satisfaction, partner engagement and team productivity.
