General Manager, Investment

Responsibilities

  • Managing the Fund’s portfolio of securities to ensure profitability and compliance with the Fund’s risk management policy;
  • Monitoring the external Fund Managers in the implementation and compliance with the Fund’s Investment Policy;
  • Coordinating the presentation by the Fund Managers Management;
  • Review goals and strategies with Fund Managers, Investment Advisors and Custodians;
  • Performing or evaluating research, such as detailed company or industry analyses, to inform financial forecasting, and decision-making on investment opportunities;
  • Undertaking actuarial valuations;
  • Adhering to statutory and regulatory requirements; and
  • Undertaking Portfolio construction; Asset allocation, identification and analysis of new opportunities.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Land Economics, Real Estate, Construction, Planning, or related field from a recognized institution;
  • Master’s Degree in Land Economics, Real Estate, Construction, Planning, or related field from a recognized institution;

Knowledge Requirements

  • Served for a cumulative service period of fifteen (15) years, five (5) of which must be at senior management level or a comparable position;
  • Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Must be CIFA or CFA finalist or equivalent
  • Membership to CIFA, CFA or equivalent professional body in good standing;
  • Practicing Certificate where applicable;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Fulfilled requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution; and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Manager Investment

Senior Investment Officer

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the preparation of policy documents such as Investment Strategy, Investment Policy and Interest Declaration and Reserve Allocation Policy;
  • Analyzing invoiced fees and preparing memos seeking approvals where necessary.
  • Initiate actuarial valuations;
  • Preparing budgets for investment purposes;
  • Participate in data collection for actuarial valuation;
  • Monitoring performance of the portfolio, asset allocation etc. and the compliance of the same to laws and regulations;
  • Participating in the analysis of technical specifications for the procurement of investment service providers, this entails the review of contracts;
  • Portfolio construction i.e. asset allocation, identification and analysis of new opportunities etc.;
  • Monitoring cash flows and coordinating the transfer of surplus funds for investment;
  • Monitoring investment service providers; and

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields from a recognized institution;

Knowledge Requirements

  • Served for a cumulative service perod of six (6) years, three (3) of which must be at the grade of investment Officer I, PSSF 7 or in comparable position
  • Must be CIFA or CFA finalist or equivalent
  • Membership to CIFA, CFA or equivalent professional body in good standing
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Fulfilled requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution

Manager, Benefits Admnistration

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing policies, systems and processes to ensure the effective processing and payment of benefits;
  • Ensuring that benefits are computed promptly, accurately and efficiently;
  • Identifying areas / opportunities for the improvement of the Fund’s benefits payment process to enhance service delivery;
  • Coordinating receipt and processing of claims;
  • Re-engineering benefits processing; and
  • Preparing divisional budget, maintaining and monitoring expenditure.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or related field from a recognized Institution;
  • Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or related field from a recognized Institution;

Assistant Manager, Marketing & Customer Experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring brand building activities are carried out through extensive member education using media, road shows and sponsorships;
  • Establishing customer segmentation system and ensuring its proper implementation; and
  • Participating in business process re-engineering projects to review work processes, assess turnaround time and resource requirement in order to identify and eliminate redundancy of processes and resources.
  • Overseeing Customer Service initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Overseeing documentation of Customer journey maps ensuring alignment with process maps;
  • Managing improvements identified through customer journey mapping processes through to implementation;
  • Ensuring Development and implementation of Customer Service Charter;
  • Designing and implementing customer engagement/feedback and resolution mechanisms;

  • Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or related field from a recognized Institution;

Knowledge Requirements

  • Served for a cumulative service period of twelve (12) years, three (3) of which must be at the grade of Principal Benefits Administration Officer, PSSF 5 or a comparable position;
  • Leadership Course Certificate lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Practicing license where applicable;
  • Membership to a professional body and in good standing;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Fulfilled requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution; and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

Experience Qualifications

  • Served for a cumulative service period of twelve (12) years, three (3) of which must be at the grade of Principal Benefits Administration Officer, PSSF 5 or a comparable position;

Marketing & Member Experience Officer II

Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer enquiries and complaints;
  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to handle complaints and inquiries; and
  • Recording details of comments, enquiries, complaints and actions taken.
  • Distributing marketing materials;
  • Participating in marketing events;
  • Ensuring the safekeeping of marketing promotional materials;
  • Undertaking daily administrative tasks on customer service;
  • Monitoring and updating social media platforms;
  • Answering phone calls from customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints;
  • Providing customers with the service and product information;
  • Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them in the system;
