Portfolio Manager
What you will do:
- Drive strategic alignment and data-driven investment decisions, ensuring that portfolio strategies are executed with precision and efficiency.
- Lead a team of three analysts, enhancing the quality of research, execution, and operational efficiency.
- Meet evolving client expectations by delivering innovative and tailored portfolio solutions.
- Optimizing CIO’s capacity.
- Leverage advanced portfolio analytics to generate superior risk-adjusted returns, identify market opportunities, and drive sustained investment performance.
- Implement cutting-edge tools such as daily Sharpe ratios, alpha generation models, and Value at Risk (VaR) analysis to proactively assess and manage risk, ensuring portfolio resilience. Streamline investment processes, enabling the investment team to respond swiftly to market dynamics while allowing senior leadership to focus on long-term strategic objectives.
- Foster trust and confidence through consistent performance, clear communication, and a steadfast commitment to investment excellence.
What we are looking for:
- A seasoned investment expert with at least 4-5 years of experience in investment management (unit trusts & third-party mandates).
- An individual with a Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science or related fields
- A strong foundation in portfolio management, leadership, matrix algebra, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Python (or similar programming languages) is highly desirable.
- Ability to mentor and manage a team while driving execution and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated pursuit of Investment certifications (CFA/CAIA, CISI, CPA/ACCA) are an added advantage.
- A keen eye for financial markets, asset allocation, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in investments software’s and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- A data-driven mindset with expertise in quantitative investment tools and software.
Senior Operations & Reporting Officer
What you will do:
- Oversee operations, reporting, and reconciliations, ensuring all fund transactions are accurately captured in APX, Unit Master, and SAP
- Ensure investment pricing and reconciliations align with our investment policies
- Act as a key liaison with Finance, handling financial matters, reconciliations, and tax-related issues
- Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all operational processes
We require you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in fund accounting or investment management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- CPA designation.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Knowledge of investment products and financial markets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
