Resident Paediatrician

Job Objective/Purpose

  • Provide and ensure quality Pediatric services within the Avenue group in line with the company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to walk in and referred paediatric patients both out and in patient.
  • Receive and resuscitate newborns in Theatre and Maternity.
  • To offer paediatric consultancy to all the doctors in Avenue Group.
  • Run the paediatric outpatient clinics.

Medical Officer

Job Objective/Purpose

  • Provision of quality care and quality services in line with Avenue Healthcare’s defined policies, protocols, procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and clear documentation of patient history, physical examination, investigations, and management. 
  • Initiate and maintain proper management and treatment of patients 
  • Appropriate and early consultation and referral of patients to specialists. 
  • Daily updates of the patients progress to the patient and the next of kin. 
  • Facilitates patient admissions, necessary consents and discharges. 
  • Undertake clinical procedures per training. 
  • Conducting CMEs and research.

Hospital Management Accountant

Job Objective/Purpose

  • Planning, organizing and coordinating all the accounting activities in the hospital, by implementing the hospital’s sustainability initiatives, and financial processes and reporting, in line with approved policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Management:
    • Lead and supervise the unit finance/accounting teams in delivering individual and team targets by providing professional and high standards of service. 
    • Prepare monthly work schedules (ROTA) and ensure efficient use of overtimes and locums. 
    • Provide leadership, ensuring staff development, engagement, performance, and ensure monthly staff meetings with documented evidence.

Unit Manager – Maternity

Job Objective/Purpose

  • To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence-based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
