GL Controller & AX Master Administrator

Purpose:

• The jobholder shall be responsible for Management of Group General Ledger, Master data and Microsoft Dynamics (AX) system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintenance of the accuracy and integrity of the general ledgers.
• Reconciliation of General and Sub ledgers
• Forex Maintenance & updates
• Creation, Mapping and Integration of ledgers
• Creation of new financial/fiscal year periods
• Rollover and closure of monthly an-audited and year end audited balances
• Creation & mapping of bank and other accounts
• Maintenance & assigning user roles
• Creation of new vendor groups and customer groups and profiles
• Change of AX master details
• Creation of vendors/customers

Person Specifications

Academic Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field

Professional Qualifications

• CPA /ACCA Qualification

Experience

• Up to two (2) years relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the AX Dynamics processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and collections, General ledger, Budgeting, Cash & Bank, and Fixed assets.

Client Service Officer – CICAM

Purpose

• The role is accountable for the day to day creation of new member accounts and supporting sales team when on-boarding new clients. The role will deliver operational effectiveness ensuring TAT on client creation is prompt for excellent client experience at first touch point.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct market research for CICAM looking at global, country, macro, industry and micro- economic trends
• Develop financial models, conduct independent business valuations and maintain and update the company’s research library;
• Attend investor analyst briefings, company, client visit and aid in compiling reports;
• Participate in presentations and discussions in the investment committee
• Provide updates on financial market activities in order to right position the company in the local and global market
• Liaising with stock market traders, stockbrokers and regulators to keep abrest with industry trends, market intelligence and compliance
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Professional Qualifications

• Added advantage: Progress in CFA qualification
• Added advantage: Associate Membership of ICIFA or CISI progress qualification

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience
