Parts Sales Advisor
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Parts Sales
- Engage in parts sales to new and established customers through the retail counter and various digital platforms (emails, telephone, WhatsApp).
- Proactively generate new sales opportunities with irregular and inactive customers through cold calling and upselling.
- Process parts sales orders through the retail counter and workshop efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Parts Ordering Analyst to enhance the quality of demand forecasting.
- Conduct substitution checks and submit them to the Parts procurement Manager for action.
- Manage parts returns in accordance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Customer Support
- Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, via email, or other communication channels, ensuring a smooth completion of the sales process.
- Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction.
- Expand the customer base and gather feedback on the level of service delivery.
- Attend to pending customer backorders, providing regular updates on the status of VORs (Vehicle Off-Road) and backorders.
Manage Quotations and Reporting
- Generate accurate quotations, process orders, and create picking lists, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for invoices and LPOs (Local Purchase Orders).
- Submit VOR order parts lists to the Parts Ordering Analyst for prompt action.
- Record lost sales on the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planner) to minimize future stockouts.
- Report on the quality of inventory in relation to parts sales, including fill rate and service level metrics
- Responsible for the proper documentation and archiving of parts-related documents, such as invoices, LPOs, and special-order parts deposit receipts
- Product Knowledge and SOPs
- Keep up to date with changes in electronic catalogues and DMS/ERP
- Enhance product knowledge through active participation in technical trainings for non-technical staff.
- Participate actively in departmental and company programs, meetings, and seminars. u. Adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Business Management/Mechanical or related.
- 2 years of experiences in Automotive. Experience in Parts Sales will be an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of Auto Parts.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Computer literate.
Warehouse Assistant
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive Inventory delivered to the warehouse observing Quality and Quantity as guided by SOP.
- Assign appropriate sections within the warehouse for the physical placement of Inventory and update the System accordingly.
- Prepare inter branch Inventory orders to ensure proper stock holding.
- Monitor stock levels and report on parts that are running low in the warehouse during routine duties.
- Reconcile Inventory against transactions and compare physical quantities with book quantities, initiating necessary adjustments.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure the warehouse is well-arranged to optimize efficiency.
- Make necessary requests to management for support in warehouse operations when required.
- Maintain security of inventory and other asset within the warehouse.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness is maintained in the warehouse.
- Analyze stock holding to inform management of appropriate actions regarding stocks.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports on Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Business Management/Mechanical or related.
- 2 years of experiences in Auto Parts Sales, warehouse, inventory control with 2 years in a similar capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Auto Parts.

Regional Parts Sales Representative – Nairobi
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support.
- Calls, visits, make presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Maintain existing accounts, obtains orders, and establish new dealerships.
- Prepare work schedules to visit existing or potential sales outlets daily/weekly/monthly.
- Exhibit products and services to existing/potential customers and provide best solutions vs needs. e. Coordinates sales effort with marketing, finance, technical and logistics teams.
- Plan and implement sales strategies with the help of supervisor.
- Responsible for achievement of overall (individual and branch) sales targets (monthly/annual). h. Product and technical knowledge.
Customer Focus.
- Regular communication with customers to increase customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints through root cause analysis and giving suitable solutions.
- Preparing reports on customer feedback and market intelligence with recommendations. d. Carry out customer education on importance of using genuine spares.
- Manage dealer visibility through execution of their marketing calendar within company policies.
