Designer (Business Analyst 2) – Communications, Governor’s Office
Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for translating concepts into visually appealing and effective solutions. He/She will collaborate with cross functional teams to develop innovative designs that meet the needs of the Bank and align with the Brand Identity. As part of the deign team, he/she will be responsible for the Bank’s communications material and collateral.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and execute designs for assignments, including branding, material and collateral review from concept to final deliverables in a timely and aesthetically appropriate manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project/assignment requirements, objectives, and target audience and create designs that effectively relay the intended messages and align with the brand guidelines.
- Effectively use design software and tools to create concepts and prototypes that will meet the desired objectives.
- Provide support on the Bank’s overall design philosophy.
- Responsible for the custodianship of the Bank’s Brand Book.
- Support in the periodical review the Bank’s design collateral and share insights on the same.
- Keep the department’s management up to date on hardware and software requirements for the efficient execution of the Officer’s mandate
- Preparation of ad hoc and periodic reports on activities related to the role and share with the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure quality delivery of service.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, design techniques and emerging technologies and propose best practices for adoption to the design projects/assignments.
- Adhere to design standards to ensure high quality of output.
- Adhere to the bank policies, procedures, guidelines, and related standards.
- Any other roles and responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a design related field from a reputable institution/ Comparable qualification from a reputable design school
- Possess an extensive portfolio of design work, demonstrating wide knowledge of design tools and tasks.
Work Experience
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a large institution.

- Demonstrable graphic design skills

Photographer (Senior Business Analyst 2) – Communications, Governor’s Office
Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for documenting Bank activities through photography and videography. He/She will collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to conceptualise and execute photo shoots for various projects and events in the Bank. In addition, he/she will be responsible for archiving and documentation in line with the Bank’s guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Capture compelling images in Bank events and adhere to the Brand guidelines and expectations.
- Select and prepare equipment, props, and locations for photo shoots, ensuring all technical and logistical aspects are in place.
- Collaborate with the creative team to plan and execute photo shoots according to briefs and requirements.
- Edit photographs for publication in various formats to enhance quality using standard software/s.
- Preparation of ad hoc and periodic reports on activities related to the role and share with the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure consistent visual branding across all channels.
- Adhere to the bank policies, procedures, guidelines, and related standards.
- Organise and maintain an archive of digital assets, including raw files, edited images and videos and metadata in the appropriate format, ensuring accessibility and security.
- Maintain all photography and video equipment as expected and engage the relevant stakeholders in case of support required.
- Any other roles and responsibilities as ma be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Visual Arts or related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrable expert-level facility with photography editing software, including (but not limited to) Adobe Lightroom Pro and CC, Adobe Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
Work Experience
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a busy photographic environment
- Demonstrable ability for quick turn-around to photography project assignments.
