Senior Manager, Distributor Finance Services (DFS)
Job Purpose Statement
- Senior Manager, Distributor Finance Services reporting to the Head Retail Digital Solutions, will be the commercial lead for digital lending targeting SME Banking customers. This will entail envisioning, design, implementation and commercialisation of re-imagined digital first lending products and processes targeted at the business and corporate segments.
- The successful candidate will own the performance and outcomes of selected SME lending solutions, and will be responsible for achieving Product-Market-Risk fit. You will get to define, structure, experiment with, and introduce new products to the market – you get to be a change driver.
- These will be delivered through an Omni channel experience with sole objective of business growth in assets, liability and Non funded Income.
- This will entail working with cross functional team overlaying an ecosystem approach to identify, target Industry segments, roll-out the specialization plan, develop MIS and capabilities to move SME strategy towards growth in this segment. You will maintain a product backlog, develop user stories, participate in scrum ceremonies, product testing, end user training and developing go to market strategies for new or revamped lending products.
- The candidate will steward partnership conversation with potential partners factoring new
- business models – SAAS/BAAS/PAAS and adoption of emerging technology NCBA go getters are thought leaders with a proven track-record of success in fast-paced retail product development environments, able to deal with uncertainties and ambiguities along with demanding timelines.
Ideal Job Specifications
- Academic: University Degree (Second Upper or Equivalent) in a Business-related field majoring in Management, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Finance or Administration or any equivalent qualification A Master’s degree and professional qualifications will be added advantage.
Professional:
- Certifications in Project Management/ Technology and experience in Agile and/or DevOps is desirable
Desired work experience:
- At least 6-8 years’ managerial experience in commercial/consumer financial services.
- Demonstrated success in balance sheet growth and customer acquisition in Fintech/Start Up/Telco/FMCG experience is desired
- Experience in trade product/Supply Chain financing business model will be an addedadvantage
- Experience in handling cash management solutions/ financial service digital application – web/e-commerce/mobile & ussd is a must Proven ability to drive an ecosystem model of business and effectively communicate recommendations to senior management, customers, vendors, partners and sales teams. Proven track record in formulation and execution of sales strategy that resulted in business growth
- Demonstrated understanding of SAAS/BAAS/PAAS and use emerging tech trend Adopt human-centered design thinking around how NCBA can improve its customer experience across retail product and solutions sets
- Demonstrate strong ownership in developing plans and driving matrix/virtual teams, managing issues, bottlenecks and barriers Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and the ability to derive insight from research and findings and to develop a product proposition.
Manager, Business Process Automation
Job Purpose Statement
- The Manager, Business Process Automation Systems’ role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations that facilitate the stable operation of the bank’s ERP, CRM application, SharePoint, Intranet and related system Operations. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing these applications which include but are not limited to CRM, SharePoint, ERP, IBPS, Success Factors etc. including related applications and system integrations.
- In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts the Manager, Business Process Automation will schedule and direct activities to resolve ERP, CRM software and service problems in a timely and accurate fashion as per defined SLA.
Ideal Job Specifications
- University degree in computer science. Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
- ITIL Intermediate and other relevant professional qualifications in ICT field.
- Project Management Certification: PMI or Prince 2
- Five to Six years’ experience in Application Development in medium to large organizations.
- Minimum 4 years working experience with a hands-on role in implementing and supporting Customer Relationships Management Systems (CRM).
- Experienced in Microsoft Dynamic CRM, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint and ASP .net Web development.
- Three years in a supervisory role.
- Working experience in a bank or other financial services organization.
- Experience in Management of Support Contracts, RFP’s and Third party support providers.
